Obtaining OKPO codes from the territorial bodies of Rosstat and the Federal Tax Service

- Subjects name. The abbreviation and full name, and if there is an option for English language it is registered in a special column. For individual entrepreneurs, in the “name” column, indicate your full name in the nominative case.
- Signs of subjects. This part contains the OKPO code: 8 characters for organizations, 10 characters for individual entrepreneurs. The first two indicate the direction of activity, the subsequent ones represent a serial number. For individual entrepreneurs, the first nine characters indicate the type of activity, the last character is the serial number.
- Classification criteria. This part contains codes of other classifiers (OKATO, OKVED, etc.)

You can leave a statement and take it to Rosstat authorities, where you will also need to provide photocopies of your passport and state registration certificate.
