They give them a lot of different troubles, ranging from the need to constantly call a sewer machine to clean the pit, ending with absolute unhygienic and bad smell. But all this has long been thought of a simple alternative solution - an autonomous sewage system, or biological.

Topas 5 is a modern and correct solution that allows you to organize wastewater disposal at the site of any suburban building. This model is able to serve up to 5 people.

Models and Specifications

This model of a septic tank can be operated all the year round. It will cope with the treatment of wastewater from the following plumbing fixtures: 2 sinks, 1 toilet, shower. The Topas 5 septic tank is on sale in 4 modifications that differ in height:

  • model 5 - 2.5 meters,
  • - 3.1 meters,
  • - 2.6 meters,
  • - 3.1 meters.

The length of all models is identical - 1.1 meters. The dimensions of the septic tank are very compact, which means that you can install it without any problems in almost any place you choose. The described model of a septic tank processes up to 1 cubic meter of sewage in one daily day, volley discharge - no more than 220 liters. It consumes only 1.5 kW per day.

  • Topas 5. The production material is durable polypropylene, which is resistant to corrosion and various kinds of damage. Insertion of sewer pipes should be carried out at a depth of no more than 80 cm. This modification is perfect for houses located in the southern regions of our country, ideal for periodic operation during the summer season. The model weighs 250 kg, for installation it is necessary to dig a hole 1.8x1.8 m and a depth of 2.4 meters.
  • Long. If the characteristics of your site do not provide for laying pipes to a shallow depth, then take a closer look at this model. Pipe insertion must be performed at a depth of 80-140 cm. This possibility arose due to an increase in the neck of the septic tank. The station weighs 300 kg, in order to install it, you need to dig a hole, the depth of which will be at least 300 cm.
  • Etc. If groundwater passes very close to the ground, you need to install a septic tank with forced water drainage, and not gravity. This model has a chamber and a drainage pump. The station weighs 260 kg, pipes must be cut at a depth of 40-80 cm. To install this model, you need to dig a hole 250 cm deep.
  • LongEtc. This model, like the previous one, has a pump for forced pumping of treated water. It is used when inserting pipes at a depth of at least 80 cm. The septic tank can be used all year round, the maximum depth at which insertion is possible is 140 cm. The station weighs 310 kg, like the Long model, with an enlarged neck. The model is installed in a pit 3 m deep.

How the Topas septic tank works and how it works

The septic tank is designed to provide a phased purification of wastewater. The septic tank cleans drains up to 98 percent.

  • Drains through the pipe first enter the receiving chamber. It contains filters that separate them into fractions.
  • Then the water, with the help of a pump, enters the aerotank. At this stage, the water undergoes even more thorough cleaning under the influence of aerobic bacteria. To create a favorable environment for the development of these bacteria, it is necessary to saturate the water with air. This is enough to purify the water with high quality, and there is no need to add any chemicals or other bacteria to it.
  • As soon as the biological wastewater treatment is completed, the water goes into the sludge compartment, from where it is discharged either by gravity or by a pump. The sludge that settles after wastewater treatment goes into the main treatment cycle through the aeration tank. This cannot happen forever, and it must be removed from the stabilizer. This is the only thing that needs to be done as part of the maintenance of the septic tank. Silt is completely harmless, it can be used as a fertilizer for the site.
