The second option is to install an apron when the furniture is already arranged. This solution has its advantages: a quick design update, hiding an untidy wall, easy replacement of a damaged panel. But there are also disadvantages: the plastic is not attached tightly to the wall, so it can lag behind, and due to moisture ingress, mold and fungus may form between the wall and the panels.
The manufacturing technology of this version of the apron: we install a strip for fasteners as close to the wall as possible. The main thing is to evenly attach the strip with self-tapping screws on the edge of the countertop. It is even better to use sealant to prevent water from entering. It is also better to fill the space from the countertop to the wall with silicone;
