The next modification is called "Topas 5 long". It differs in that it has an elongated body. But here it must be taken into account that a station of such a modification is used when there is a need to lay a pipe at a distance of up to one and a half meters from the surface of the earth.
The Topas 5 PR modification is different in that it is designed to force wastewater to come out. Such a station must be installed if the soil waters are close to the surface of the earth.
Note! This kind of station is powered by a compressor. Therefore, during installation, it is necessary to calculate that there is a supply of electricity. It is very important that the station works without interruption and stops. If there is no connection to the mains, it will cease to function. But this applies to those cases when the electricity is turned off for several hours. Then the septic tank starts to work just as a sump, and you need to limit the use of water so as not to overload the chamber.
Features of work
The very process of work lies in the fact that the first installed filters divide the waste into smaller ones. Next, the pump pumps the water, already filtered, into the aeration tank. Then comes the most important cleaning step. Aerobic bacteria begin their task, for the fruitful work of which the water is specially saturated with air. Bacteria treat wastewater by ninety-eight percent. Further, the purified water is discharged to the street either by gravity or by means of a pump.

The advantage of such an installation is that it consumes exactly the same amount of electricity as we spend on a burning light bulb. It is also important that such a station, unlike conventional septic tanks, which still continue to act as competitors, does not require a source of heat energy. At the time when the water is being purified, a sufficient amount of heat will be released, which is enough to heat the station on its own. The advantages of such an aerobic septic tank include the fact that there is no need to make additional cleaners and filters for the outflowing liquid. This is because the bacteria absorb all the contaminants in the drains, and thereby purify them by almost one hundred percent, unlike its competitor Ecodin 5.

The advantages should also include such a moment that the Topas 5 station has a much stronger hull than, for example, that of the competing company Tank 2.5. In the first case, you are presented with a design that has a thickness of 12 mm and consists of a material such as polypropylene. Such a design will not be able to deform in case of compression from the outside. But the body of the competitor is much thinner. It is 10 mm, while ordinary polyethylene is used as the material in this case.
All materials tend to break. And the Topas 5 aerobic septic tank is no exception. It also has its downsides. And the main one is the flooding of the septic tank, which can occur due to a malfunction of one of the pumps. The second reason for the failure of the station is the freezing of the channel through which treated water is discharged. Also, the device may fail if the compressor membrane or air tube breaks.
But this kind of cleaners are installed in any soil, regardless of the level of groundwater. Whereas many septic tanks cannot boast of such capabilities. Some stations can only be installed on sand or sandy loam. In this case, the water level in the soil should be low.
If the Topas 5 septic tank is properly operated and diagnosed every three years, then it will justify the funds spent on it.
