Children's musical instruments. with your own hands. Musical director Verchenko M.P. MKDOU kindergarten №2

Musical instruments for children, they always remain wonderful, unusual, attractive objects that you really want to play on. After all, an instrument for children is a symbol of music, and the one who plays it is almost a magician. In the process of playing the instruments, the individual features of each are clearly manifested: the presence of will, emotionality, concentration, imagination. For many, this type of activity helps to open the spiritual world. Overcome shyness and stiffness.

So what is noise? Noise - random non-periodic vibrations of a sounding body. Unlike musical sounds, noise does not have a precisely defined pitch. Noise sounds include crackling, rattling, creaking, rustling, etc., and noise orchestral instruments are devices for producing noise that create a certain rhythmic and timbre flavor.

Now in stores huge selection children's musical instruments (DMI), but not everyone can buy these toys, and there is no need for this, because the child grows and develops so quickly. And the old toys cease to satisfy the cognitive needs of the baby. And the need to update them is growing every day. There is a good way out. You can independently design toys and over time update and modify them. A hand-made tool will help you teach your baby to work together. Not so much is needed for designing - desire and a little bit of fiction! So, I suggest you show a little imagination!

Musical mittens

We take old mittens and unnecessary buttons

From the back side we decorate mittens with bows

We love the finished work

maracas It is always mysterious and desirable to explore the insides of tools. To satisfy your child's curiosity. I propose to make a maracas, a noise instrument common in South America. A real maracas is an empty pumpkin, inside of which peas are poured. We will make a maracas from a small plastic bottle or a kinder surprise case.

Pour buckwheat or rice or semolina into a case or into a plastic bottle (the degree of instrument volume depends on the groats), close the lid ...

And ... the maracas is ready !!! You can put peas, bells, beads, coins, etc. in a larger bottle. You can experiment and pour a variety of “sounding” small objects into iron boxes from under sweets and candies. Then the sound will be louder. Or in wooden or carton boxes different size and volume. If the child is still very small, then the opening parts of the instrument must be securely sealed, for example, with adhesive tape.

drum For the manufacture of the drum we need: Mayonnaise jar; Semolina or sand; used markers; Case from kinder surprise; Filler for sticks (beads, small buttons, beads or any cereal).

Making the drum body and rattle sticks: Take a mayonnaise jar - this will be the drum body. Pour a 1 cm layer of semolina or sand inside the jar (to slightly muffle the sound of the drum). Close the lid tightly. Take two used felt-tip pens. Open the case from Kinder Surprise, in one part make a hole smaller than the thread of the felt-tip pen body. Put a marker in the hole. We fill the case with beads or cereals, close it. We decorate the drum with colored paper. The drum is ready to use!

harp We will need: Stationery rubber bands for strings; Juice pack 1-1.5 l - for the resonator; Two sticks (pencil) - for the thresholds. Pull the elastic bands over the bag along the length. Place a stick under the elastic strings - they will rise. Place the second nut under the "strings" parallel to the first or at an angle to it. The tool setting can be adjusted in two ways: by picking up rubber bands different thickness(the thicker the gum, the lower the sound), or by changing the angle between the nut. In this case, the length of the sounding part of the string will change, since that part of the elastic band that is stretched between the nut sounds. With the same thickness of strings, a shorter one will give a higher sound. Play the harp, either by plucking the strings in turn, or by running your finger over all the strings at once.

Ratchet

Making musical instruments with your own hands is a useful and exciting activity. There are no clear rules and laws here, so any idea easily turns into reality: paint, tie, stick, pour, pour, sew, experiment ... The main thing is to make music together, then it will bring both the baby and you a great creative mood!

I remember a bright moment from my childhood: Sviridov's "Snowstorm" is performed by a musician on a broomstick. On a real broom, but with strings. Such a “broom chord” was blinded by our violin teacher from what was.

In fact, if you have hearing, making such musical instruments with your own hands is not so difficult. Let's start simple. Percussion - for inspiration we go to the kitchen.

Even a child can make a shaker. To do this, you will need: a capsule from Kinder Surprise, a small amount of semolina, buckwheat or other cereals. We pour cereal into the capsule, close it and seal it with adhesive tape for reliability. The dynamics of the sound depends on what kind of cereal will rattle inside the shaker.

Sounding glasses

One of the most fabulous DIY musical instruments is the wineglass xylophone. We line up the glasses in a row, pour water and adjust the sound. The level of water in the vessel affects the pitch of the sound: the more water, the lower the sound. Everything - you can safely play and! There are three secrets to playing with glasses: choose glasses made of thin glass, wash your hands thoroughly before playing, and when playing, barely touch the edges of the glass with your fingers dipped in water.

Pipe according to grandfather's and modern recipes

For materials for the pipe, we go to nature: we need reeds, reeds (or other tubular plants) and birch bark (or bark, dense leaves). "Tube" must be necessarily dried. With the help of a knife, we make a flat area on the sidewall and cut out a small rectangle on it. We cut out a rectangular tongue from birch bark, while making one end thinner. We attach the tongue to the tube with adhesive tape and bend it a little. If desired, you can add several holes on the pipe.

The American version of the pipe is an instrument made from a cocktail tube. As a basis, we take a tube with a fold. We flatten its smaller part with our teeth. Then, with scissors, cut off pieces of the upper part along the edges: you should get an angle at the middle of the edge of the tube. The angle should not be too large or small, otherwise the pipe will not sound.

Coin castanets

For a real Spanish instrument, we need: colored cardboard rectangles 6x14cm in size (4 pieces), and 6x3.5 cm in size (2 pieces), 4 large coins and glue.

We fold large rectangles in half and glue them in pairs. Glue a ring from each of the small strips (for thumb). Inside the rectangle on each opposite sides glue on a coin, at a distance of 1 cm from the edge. When folding cardboard castanets, the coins should touch.

Do-it-yourself percussion musical instruments

Ceramic pot for flowers with a diameter of 14 cm, several balloons, plasticine, sushi sticks - that's what you need for.

We cut off the "neck" from the ball and pull the rest of the pot. The hole at the bottom of the pot can be covered with plasticine. The drum is ready, it remains to make sticks. To do this, we attach a ball of pre-frozen plasticine to sushi sticks. From balloon cut off the lower part and stretch it on a plasticine ball. And the elastic band from the top of the ball will help tighten this design.

However, musical instruments do not have to be made by hand. Listen to the music of the streets and you will discover the music of trash cans, pots, hoses and even brooms. And on these items you can also play interesting music, as the guys from the STOMP team do.

With my own hands. Of course, to make a violin or piano without special training, materials, fixtures at home unprepared for this species the master will fail. And this is a fact that should be accepted unconditionally. But how to make fairly simple musical instruments with your own hands - our article will tell those who are interested.

Where to find the source material for crafts

Any object from which sound can be extracted belongs to the musical. And this is almost everything that surrounds us! If you carefully follow the one-year-old babies, it will become clear: the back of an iron bed, when hit with a spoon, makes a melodic ringing, similar to the sound of a metallophone. And if you knock wooden spoons on the table and chairs, you get an amazing likeness

It turns out that we are surrounded by continuous musical instruments! With your own hands you only need to decorate them the right way, collect in one place and put next to the "musician".

Gift for a drummer

For example, a beautiful one is obtained from a set of pots, lids and wooden sticks. Pencils are suitable as the latter, wooden spoons, brushes. You can also carve special sticks for a beginner drummer out of wood.

As you can see from the photo, making these with your own hands is quite simple. For beauty, you can even come up with a special emblem and decorate each item with it. Suitable for "plates" metal lids mounted on a stand. By the way, next to the pots, metal buckets, mugs, bowls, basins will get along wonderfully. The main thing in this matter is to choose containers different size which are capable of producing different sounds.

Spoon tool

Everyone knows such Russian as spoons. Even solo numbers are practiced, where the performers manage to perform quite interesting compositions.

You can expand the possibilities of spoon musicians by creating an entire installation for them. She needs a wooden matryoshka. By arranging them in ascending order of volume, you can get an excellent tool-installation.

DIY Guiro

Skilled woodworkers can make quite professional musical instruments. Handmade rattles are also of interest to musicians today.

Initially, guiros were made from the fruits of the gourd tree, on which notches were made. Its place of origin is considered latin america. Modern guiros are musical instruments made by hand from solid wood with notches, which should be driven with a scraper called "pua". The musician thus extracts interesting chirping sounds, accompanying singing or performing his part in the orchestra.

Today, this kind of musical instruments appear, made with their own hands from metal or plastic tubes. In Russia, rattles made of notched wooden planks were an analogue of the guiro.

Maracas, shakers - rattles

You can make musical noise instruments with your own hands from a variety of containers. For crafts, metal coffee cans, plastic yogurt bottles, Kinder surprise egg boxes, wooden boxes and even inner cylinders from paper towels or toilet paper from cardboard. Only the latter need to be sealed at both ends so that something can be put there. A shaker is also made from two disposable cups, gluing them together with adhesive tape.

To create a sound effect, cereals, sand, small pebbles, beads, shot, buttons are placed inside the container. You can attach pens to round containers, paint them acrylic paints. Then you get very beautiful musical noise instruments, which you can build with your own hands from improvised materials.

Castanets

Children are very fond of making a variety of crafts with adults. DIY musical instruments can also be made at home.

You can make castanets using two large buttons to which loops are attached. These devices are put on the thumb and middle fingers. The knock of the castanets at their contact and the sound is extracted.

From absolutely unnecessary things, prepared for removal to the trash, you can make enough interesting crafts. Do-it-yourself musical instruments are created by gluing covers onto cardboard pieces, after which the blanks must be fastened together, folding them perpendicular to each other.

Tambourine

Often in children's musical instruments there are bells and bells that ring beautifully. You can hang them on an empty paper towel cylinder or along the edges of disposable plates fastened together. It is best to fold the latter asymmetrically.

By coloring the instruments brightly made in this way, you can use them in a noise children's orchestra.

Whistles and pipes

It's easy and simple to make DIY hands that make sounds when the performer blows into them. They are made from hollow stems of blades of grass, bark of twigs, plastic handles, straws from cocktails. If the latter are cut diagonally at different lengths, then you can get whistles that make a different sound.

Whistles are also obtained from the pods of beans, peas or acacia. In childhood, everyone at least once, but "played" such a musical instrument.

Craftsmen make pipes out of wood by cutting holes in hollow tubes. But here special skill is required. No less difficult - and just as interesting! - make a whistle-toy out of clay or salt dough. Usually, a variant of the "Dymkovo" toy is used here. Although you can make a little thing by hiding a ready-made whistle inside. Having made several of these toys that make sounds of different pitches, you can even play some melodies on them.

You can make homemade musical instruments with your own hands from almost nothing. For example, a cap from a plastic bottle, on which a piece of rubber cut from a burst balloon will be stretched, will become an exciting toy for a child.

You can also use empty vials as a whistle. If you blow into the inlet from top to bottom, applying the container only to the lower lip and holding it vertically, you can make amazing sounds! The musicians change the inclination of the “instrument”, the distance between the lips and the opening of the bubble, the force of blowing air, and various melodies are born into the world.

"Litrofon", or "singing bottles"

Today, more and more often, performers with such interesting instruments come on stage that you can only wonder! And from what only they do not make them! You can make it yourself, for example, from bottles or wine glasses, filling them with water.

Different heights of emitted sounds are achieved due to the amount of liquid being poured, the material for making dishes, and changing the volume of the container. The less water is poured, the thinner the sound. For beauty and convenience, the liquid is tinted.

Harp, or "musical comb"

Taking an ordinary flat comb (“hedgehog” will not work), you need to cover the location of the teeth with foil or tissue paper. By blowing into this simple instrument, you can make cool rattling sounds.

Talented musicians from the stages perform various musical compositions on the harp, up to classical ones. Particularly interesting is this tool, made from a comb with different thicknesses of teeth.

The main theme of Oginsky's "Polonaise" or the melody of a folk song/hit come out surprisingly similar to the original!

DIY guitar

This is truly amazing! But you can even make a guitar with your own hands from improvised materials, but simply from rubbish.

As a basis, take closed carton boxes, Empty Flat Plastic Shampoo Bottles. Of course, the sound of the instrument will depend on the material of the guitar frame and the size of the hole cut in it.

It is also important to choose the right strings for the guitar. Most often, they take clerical or aviation rubber bands and pull them with different strengths.

So now you do not need to run to the children's toy store if the baby is capricious. After all, you can simply make an exciting toy for him - a musical instrument that will become the most beloved and expensive thing for the child.

Musical noise instruments, handmade.

Author: Markova Ruslana Pavlovna. Musical director of MDOU d / s "Fairy Tale" of the village of Trostyanka, Balashovsky district, Saratov region.
Description: This master class will be useful for teachers preschool education and parents. Designed for children of preschool age.
Target: training the participants of the master class in the use of noise musical instruments in working with preschool children.
Tasks:
To acquaint the participants of the master class with the methods of making noise musical instruments;
Familiarize yourself with the methods and techniques of using noise musical instruments in Everyday life;
To increase the level of professional competence of the majority of teachers, as well as parents, their motivation for systematic use in practice.

Materials:
plastic bottles (I took a bottle of baby champagne and a small bottle of mineral water), cardboard medicine box, colored paper, corrugated paper, scissors, pencil, compasses, A4 paper, felt-tip pens, buckwheat, peas, salt, strong fixation PVA glue, silicone gun glue.

Today we will make three musical noise instruments at once - a large maracas "Christmas tree-rattler" from a plastic bottle from children's champagne, a small maracas "musical chamomile" from a small plastic bottle, and a bright rainbow "rattler" from a medicine box.
Let's start making the first musical instrument.
1. We cut long enough strips (the length or their number depends on the size plastic bottles) with a width of seven centimeters of one color and nine centimeters of another color. We make mossy cuts on one side.

2. Glue the strips to each other at the bottom of the base.

3. While our strips are drying, we cut off another strip about five centimeters wide for the neck. On one side, make incisions-mohrushki about twenty centimeters.

4. After smearing the strips at the base with glue, first glue the neck with a spiral motion, then starting from the bottom of the bottle, the main part. I got a few strips, so it's easier to glue.

And so, while our product dries, we proceed to the manufacture of the second musical instrument - the "musical chamomile".
5. Cut off a long strip of green, 4-5 centimeters wide. corrugated paper. Let me explain why corrugated paper - it is much softer than regular paper, and fits better on the relief of the bottle. We glue the strip with glue and glue the bottle.

We send our bottle to dry, and proceed to the manufacture of the "hornet".
6. We cut multi-colored strips of 3-5 centimeters from colored paper and two squares, for the back of the box, the squares should be slightly larger, with small cuts at the corners for bending.

on the one hand, we glue the back side deafly, without the possibility of opening it, on the other hand, we glue it so that our "hornet" opens in order to pour grits there.

7. Now we glue it with strips, cutting off the excess at the edges.

Our bottles have already dried up, and we are returning to the "musical daisy"
8. On A4 paper, draw a circle with a diameter of 13-14 centimeters with a compass.

9. Divide the circle first into four equal parts, then into eight.

10. Draw round petals.

11. Outline the neck of the bottle, make the middle of the chamomile.

12. Cut out the chamomile. We do not cut out the middle, but make cuts along the lines.

13. We tint our blanks with either felt-tip pens or paints.

14. We put the beaters on the bottle, and you can pour the cereal into our tools.

15. The last stage in the manufacture of musical instruments.
We take a piece of yellow lining material, put a bottle cap on a piece, drip heated pistol glue inside the cap and glue the edges of the material inside the cap.

Screw on the lids and our musical noise instruments are READY!

And now you just need to play: the children stand in a circle, take, for example, the instrument that Vanya made, sing a simple song “play, play, and pass it to another”, pass the instrument to each other until all the children play.
"Tsyki-tasy, tsyki-tasy! -
Maracas revived. -
You won't find now
No one is more mobile than us!
We are not silent for a moment
We all bang our heads!
We will play tango for you
About the country where the mango ripens!
Dance, amigo maracas!
Tsyki-tasy, tsyki-tasy!

Home music workshop, developing exercises with homemade musical instruments. Educational video for children.

From this article you will learn:

- how to make musical instruments at home with children - a squeaker, maracas, the sound of rain, musical cups, a singing comb, a Chinese drum,

- educational games for children with musical homemade instruments,

- a bit of history: how people came up with musical instruments and what they are, what is rhythm, what are noise and percussion musical instruments.

DIY musical instruments: maracas

Maracas is the easiest musical instrument to make at home with the kids. You can make it with your own hands even with kids!

How to make a maracas with your own hands:

Step 1. We take jars with lids (tin and plastic, if available, then wooden, birch bark and clay vessels with lids are also suitable). Then we fill them with various fillers: millet, buckwheat, lentils, peas, beans, beads. We fill different banks for different heights (for 1/4 of the volume, for 1/2 of the volume, for 2/3 of the volume)

Step 2. Close the lid tightly. We try the sound of the resulting maracas blank with the children. We try to add a filler or, conversely, remove it to get the desired sound.

Step 3. When the desired sound is received, tightly close the lid. If necessary, you can additionally glue it with a glue gun. We glue the tool with colored paper (the kid can help you cut strips for decoration or choose a braid). We decorate the maracas as you like with the child.

Maracas is ready!

Ideas from experience:

Idea 1. Don't do everything yourself. Let the kid participate in the manufacture of maracas - pour grain into it, transfer large beads or beans one at a time into a jar. When shifting, we grab beads, peas or beans with a tweezer grip (forefinger and thumb as “tweezers”). Show your child how it's done.

Idea 2. Experiment with different amounts of filler. What sound will it make if you throw only ten beans or half a can of beans? Or almost a whole can of beans? Try how the sound of the instrument changes depending on the material of the can. Choose what your child likes. And as soon as the sound satisfies you, seal the lid forever.

Idea 3. It is more interesting if we decorate different jars in different ways. It can be braid, and stickers, and paper appliqué, and patterns drawn with gouache and then varnished on top for durability.

DIY musical instruments: musical glasses (glasses)

A few years ago I heard a virtuoso performance on glasses of classics - the musician played "Rondo". It was amazing! Well, the kids and I can play simpler melodies, and most importantly, experiment with water and enjoy the sounds!

How to make musical cups (glasses):

Step 1. We take 5 or more glass jars or cups or glasses (a set of glasses will do) and pour water into them to different levels.

Step 2. We take a spoon or a stick or a mallet (plastic or wooden) and hit the glasses. You get a sound - each glass has its own sound.

Ideas from experience:

Idea 1. If you take the same vessels (a set of cups) and pour different amounts of water into them, then the sounds will be different in height:

- the highest sound will be at an empty glass,

- most low sound will have a glass filled with water.

If the glasses are different, then the sound of the one in which you poured more water will be lower.

If you experiment with the amount of water, you can build a real instrument and play a melody on it. Try experimenting with your child and playing with water and glasses.

Idea 2. Very interesting and amazing fact- if you decide to take a break for a walk or a nap and return to the glasses again later - it may happen that the sound may disappear. Don't worry. To make it appear, you just need to mix the water in our musical vessels or pour it again.

DIY musical instruments: playing the comb

This is a homemade musical instrument that I have known since childhood. I was taught it in our yard. And we played it together.

To make such a musical instrument - a comb is very simple:

Step 1. We take a comb (comb with large teeth on the handle). Cut off a strip of tracing paper. The strip should be slightly larger than the comb in size.

Step 2. We apply the tracing paper to one side of the comb and bring it to the mouth.

Step 3. Sing by putting your mouth to the tracing paper. It is we who sing - we draw words! Tracing paper will start to vibrate and you won't recognize your voice :). Children love it! Tracing paper will tickle your lips. Such a voice is very good for voicing fairy tales and home cartoons invented by a child.

DIY musical instruments: the sound of rain

How to make rain noise:

Step 1. We prepare tools and materials:

- cardboard long narrow cylinder (for example, from under the foil).

- pack of toothpicks

- pliers or sharp scissors

- glue ( glue gun), paper and scissors for decorating the finished tool.

Sometimes this tool is made from hogweed, but it is very dangerous, especially for children. After all, hogweed is a poisonous plant!

Step 2 We take an awl and a tube from under the foil and pierce one hole near the edge of the cardboard roll with an awl. We insert a toothpick into this hole until it stops against the opposite wall of the cylinder.

Step 3. We retreat 1-2 cm and make a new hole and also stick a toothpick into it. Next, we make holes in the spiral of our cylinder. The spiral passes inside the entire cylinder and forms barriers in it, through which the cereal will pour, making a noisy sound. It turns out that as if inside our cylinder - spiral staircase from toothpicks.

Step 4. So the spiral is ready inside the cardboard roll. We take wire cutters or sharp scissors and cut off the excess ends of the toothpicks from the surface of the cylinder.

Step 5 We seal one end of our cylinder - the tube. We are waiting for the glue to dry.

Step 6. We put the tube with the glued bottom down. And we pour cereal into it. We listen to the sound. We close the open end with the palm of our hand (so that the cereal does not spill out) and turn the tool very gradually upside down. We listen to the sound.

The sound will depend on the filler - try different fillers. If it is buckwheat, then the sound is more abrupt, if it is flax seeds, then the sound is more “solid”. Find the sound that you and the children will like and suit you.

Step 7. Now you can seal the second hole in our pipe - the base.

Step 8 Decorate our rain noise. It can be pasted over with paper, cloth, cord, painted with gouache and varnished on top.

How to play on the sound of rain:

Playing on the sound of the rain noise instrument, and not like on the drum. That is, you do not need to rhythmically shake it or hit it. It is necessary very slowly and gradually, without hurrying anywhere, very carefully and gradually turn the instrument over with one end, then the other end up. Precisely slowly and gradually!

There is another - an easier way to make rain noise from a roll of foil. But - the sound is not quite noisy. More like a percussion instrument. How to make such a rain noise you will find in this video:

Do-it-yourself musical instruments: we make guselki

How to make do-it-yourself goose with children:

Step 1. Prepare materials:

- stationery gum (5 - 7 pieces). These will be the strings.

- an empty juice bag (volume - from a liter to two liters, at least).

- two round sticks or twigs or round pencils. The length is equal to the package width or more. These will be the sills.

Step 2. We stretch the elastic bands on the juice package along its length so that they run parallel to each other at an equal distance from each other. These will be the goose strings.

Step 3. We put our two round sticks under the strings so that the strings do not touch the juice box and rise up. One stick is on one side of the package perpendicular to the strings, the other is on the other side of the package perpendicular to the strings.

Step 4. The tool is ready! Let's play! You can pluck a string, you can run your finger along several strings.

Tips from experience:

Idea 1. Try experimenting with elastic bands of different thicknesses. Let the child make sure that the thicker the elastic band, the lower its sound.

Idea 2. Change the angle between the sills and their location based on the juice package. Then you will get strings of different lengths - from the shortest to the longest. And they will make different sounds. A shorter string will give a higher sound.

Idea 3. Try using a different base - a shoe box, tin, plastic. Listen to the sounds that come out. Together with your child, choose the base and the thickness of the "strings" - elastic bands that your children will like best.

DIY musical instruments: squeaker from a pod

Did you make squeakers out of pods as a child? We did and loved to get different sounds with the help of such homemade tweeters! Here's how it's done:

Step 1. Take an acacia pod. We cut off the tail.

Step 2. Open the pod carefully and take out the grains.

Step 3. Trying to play.

Found short video-demonstration of this way of playing on an acacia pod in YouTube - I share:

How to engage with children with musical instruments that you make with your own hands: ideas

These videos will definitely inspire you and your kids for interesting musical ideas with children! These are recordings of the children's TV show "Shishkin's School" of my favorite TV channel "My Joy".

Video 1 for kids: Percussion musical instruments

From this video for kids you will learn:

How to make a maracas from a jar?

How did people come up with percussion instruments?

What can you make a maracas out of?

What are drums?

- play percussion instruments with children

Video 2 for kids: what is rhythm?

This video will introduce kids to the concept of "rhythm" and tell you how you can play rhythm games with your children.

Video 3 for children: noise musical instruments

In this video your kids will learn about noise instruments and how to use percussion instruments as noise instruments. And they will arrange a real orchestra with noise and percussion instruments (maracas, rattle, castanets).

Exercises with children's homemade tools

Option 1. Accompany rhythmically any tune or arrange a noise orchestra.

Option 2. Musical sketch. Accompany with noise sounds a story or a fairy tale (a horse is galloping - these are castanets, it is raining - this is the sound of rain, thunder - a drum, desert and rustling sand - maracas, spring drops or it's raining - musical glasses or glasses, etc.), a story, natural phenomenon, event. So you can improvise with the texts of many fairy tales and poems. You read the text of a fairy tale and point to a certain instrument. The child comes up with how to convey this event or word with this instrument.

If you are playing with a group of children, you can give them different instruments in advance. And to show with your eyes which instrument is now entering the fairy tale. Then the game will also be useful for the development of children's communication skills.

Option 3. Song by couplets. In each new verse of the song, a new group of instruments enters.

Option 4. Song with orchestra. In the first couplet, one instrument plays, in the second, the second instrument joins it (both instruments sound), in the third, the third instrument, and so on until you get a full orchestra (all of our musical instruments play).
Songs of the peoples of the world are best suited for such musical improvisations.

Option 5. Dialogue without words. Try to talk to each other with the sounds of instruments. Convey joy, sadness, chagrin, surprise and other states, as well as various events using the sounds of musical homemade tools. Change the rhythm, the volume of the instruments.

Option 6. Echo game. You need to repeat the rhythm after the leader on your instrument. The game is also useful for development auditory attention and speech of children.

Option 7. Game in the circle "Attention". Everyone sits in a circle in a clearing or on chairs in a room. The leader sets the rhythm and all players repeat it on their instruments. Then suddenly the leader changes the rhythm - you need to replace this and adjust to the leader. Another variant of this game - the presenter changes the volume of the sound.

Option 8. Fairy tale with tools. Children are given musical instruments. You can give one child 2-3 tools. Agree in advance what each instrument will represent in the fairy tale. For example, the sound of rain - the word "rain", the blows of spoons - steps, etc. You improvise - tell a little story in which these words occur. As soon as the player has heard “his” word, he must enter into the text of your story with the sounds of his instrument: make noise with the sound of rain, depict the creak of an opening door, cat steps and other events that you have planned in advance. Do not look for a ready-made story - compose as you go.

If it is still difficult for you to compose fairy tales with children on the go and improvise- The free course "Secrets of children's development in the game" will help you (the second video of the course on writing fairy tales - why you need it and how to learn it). You can get the course for free here on our website -. This is a recording of my webinars on the basics of child development in preschool age at the Internet Workshop of educational games "Through the game - to success!" 2013.

The main thing in games with musical toys made by hand - this is the development of the child's ability to listen to the peculiarities of their sound, to convey a different rhythm, different emotional condition with their help, be creative in their use. As well as experimentation - what will change if you change the tool - its length, filler and other characteristics.

You can learn more about the workshop of musical instruments from pockets and about musical developmental exercises for kids from the course Tatyana Yermolina on the "Native Path" -

Making musical instruments with your children with your own hands- it is very interesting, exciting and exciting! I wish you interesting creative games! And inspiration for musical improvisations with children on these sunny summer days!
