Excursion to the school library. Library lesson "Journey to Book City" (study tour for primary school students)

Excursion to the school library

In the children's library
The books are lined up on the shelves.
Take, read and know a lot
But don't hate the book.
She will open up a big world
And if you make it sick
You are a book - forever
The pages will be silent then.

Traditionally, in October, an excursion of future first-graders to the library was held. The librarian Grebenkina Natalia Egorovna introduced the children to the book stock of the library, the children learned what books are, got acquainted with the rules for using the library and library books. The kids learned that BOOKS are the most amazing invention of mankind. The fact that "textbooks and books cry when they are treated carelessly." During the excursion, the children were more interested in various encyclopedic publications, which were recently obtained from the library. They examined them with great interest and curiosity, shared their impressions with each other, and someone even tried to read them. At the end of the excursion, the children were offered a quiz, which they successfully completed.

We hope that these guys will continue to be our good readers.

Excursion of future first graders to the school library.

“Children come here to learn about everything in the world”

Target: Introduce preschool students and toddlers senior group kindergarten with the school library.

Tasks:

    Develop an interest in reading.

Familiarize yourself with the rules of using the library

To introduce children to such concepts - “reader, librarian, subscription, reading room, reader form.

The Librarian meets the children at the library door.

Our tour begins with the question: “What is a library? (The house where books live)

Librarian:Looking outside -

Home is like a home

But there are no ordinary residents in it.

It has interesting books

They stand in tight rows.

On long shelves along the wall

Fairy tales of antiquity fit in:

And Chernomor, and Tsar Gvidon,

And good grandfather Mazai ...

What is the name of this house?

Try it, guess.(Children: "Library")

That's right, guys, this is a library - a home for different books.

Please, please come

To our spacious book house!

Please, please take a look

How do we live with books?

The librarian is the owner of this house, and her name is Natalya Egorovna.

Why do people need a library?

Who will answer all my questions?

Who will tell about the things around?

Yes, there is such a magician in the world:

BOOK is my best companion and friend

The librarian talks about the book fund of the library, about the arrangement of the fund, introduces them to the thematic shelves, book exhibitions. About who owns the books in the library, how to become a reader of the library, how you can use the library books.

See what different books are on the shelves. Some of them are brand new, others have been read by your moms and dads. It depends on you, girls and boys, how many years the books will live on the shelves. Sometimes bad things happen to them.

Two girls dressed as books appear from behind the shelves.

One day two books met

We talked among ourselves.

Well, how are you doing?

One asked the other.

Oh honey, I'm embarrassed in front of the class

My master

I ripped out the covers ... with meat!

What about the covers ... cut off the sheets!

Of them he makes boats, rafts

And doves...

I'm afraid the sheets will go to the snakes,

Then fly me into the clouds!

Are your sides intact?

Your suffering is unknown to me.

I don't remember such a day

So that without washing your hands cleanly,

And look at my sheets:

You won't see an ink dot on them,

I am silent about blots -

It is indecent to talk about them ...

But I'm learning it too.

Not somehow, but on "excellent"!

Well, my troika barely rides

And even got a deuce that week ...

These are very sad poems, children. But I think that we don't have such boys and girls at school. And now you will learn the rules for using the library.

Rules for the use of books.

A clean book is nice! Don't leave stains on it. Leave the bad habit: leafing through, do not slobber your fingers!

Wrap the book in the cover. Where did you get it - return it there! Remember! Book- best friend but not for dirty hands!

All pages are folded in the book! Do you remember the bookmark? Do not bend the binding. Don't forget it's paper!

Remember our rules! And try to do it. And then ... interesting secrets of the book will be revealed!

Librarian:I'm sure some of you already know how to read. Are there such guys? Hands up. And the rest of the guys will soon learn to read. And then, without the help of mom and dad, they will be able to travel around the Book State.

There are also books in the library that are not available for home loan. Why? Because there are books that readers may need any day. These are reference books, dictionaries, encyclopedias and other books that are often used by readers. These books can only be used in the library, so there are tables for work in the reading room. Everyone in the reading room is working and behaving quietly.

Silence in the reading room

We especially need

Go away talk -

In lobbies, corridors

Fantasize, dream.

Librarian: Today we have an unusual guest, you will find out:

    Treats young children.

Heals birds and animals.

Looking through his glasses

Kind doctor ... (Aibolit)

Dr. Aibolit:Hello guys!
We have an unusual hospital in our library. Books, like people, get sick too. True, they do not sneeze or cough. They somehow imperceptibly begin to hurt: turn yellow, dry, crumble into leaves (shows a stack of such books).
These patient patients do not cry, do not moan, do not complain.
And that's where my friends and I come to the rescue. We treat them (shows glued books).
- If a sheet of a book is torn, it must be glued with adhesive tape so that the text can be seen.
- A wrinkled page can be smoothed out by placing it between the sheets not very thick paper and iron with a warm iron.
- Fingerprints and pencil marks should be erased with a soft eraser.
- If the cover or binding of the book is torn off, you need to cut a strip of 5-6 cm wide into the height of the book from gauze or chintz. Smear the fabric with glue and press so that inner side the covers and the first sheet matched. Do the same at the end of the book, and then put the book under the load.
Librarian: Dr. Aibolit introduced you to some methods of treating sick books. If something happens to your books, come to us at the Book Hospital, we will help you treat your patient. And now we say goodbye to Dr. Aibolit and listen to S. Marshak's poem "The Book's Complaints, or What the Book Would Like". The book queen reads a poem.
I am a book! I am your friend!
Be, schoolboy, careful with me.
My clean look always pleasant
Protect me from stains!
Do not bend my binding,
Don't break my spine!
Leave the bad habit
Leafing through, do not slobber your fingers!
Forget me not in the garden
All of a sudden, the rain will come crashing down.
Wrap me in paper!
Where did you take me - return it there!
Don't bend my sheets
Do you remember the bookmark?
Remember I'm your best friend
But not for dirty hands.

Librarian: And today we have another unusual guest - this is the Mystery Grandmother, she brought riddles with her for you.

Mysterious Grandmother:

He speaks does not speak

Hear does not hear

And everyone knows

And explains to us (book)

The wall is large and important -

The house is multi-storey

We're downstairs

All tenants have already been read! ( Bookshelf)

I know everything, I teach everyone,

But I'm always silent

To befriend me

Need to learn to read (Book)

black, curves,

Silent from birth

And when they line up

They will suddenly speak at once (Letters)

She speaks silently

Clear and not boring

You talk to her more often -

You will become four times smarter. (Book)

Grandmother-Riddle: I made you several riddles, and they are all dedicated to the book, reading. Because books have great importance In human life.

I turn to you, my dear children,

There is nothing more useful than a book,

Let friends' books come to houses:

Read all your life, get smart.

And a few more tips from Grandma the Riddler:

Read slowly to understand and feel the meaning of what you read.

The book must be read to the end.

Look at the pictures while reading the book.

If you come across an incomprehensible word, ask the elders about its meaning.

Librarian:Today we talked a lot about what departments the library consists of, how to and how not to handle books, in order to check how you remember it, we will quiz.

What is the name of the department in the library where books are borrowed? (subscription).

What is a "reading room", why is it needed in a library? (work with a reference fund or read magazines).

What departments are there in our library? (subscription, reading room, storage).

What is the name of a special notebook in which the librarian writes down books given out at home? (form).

How the word "library" (book depository) is translated into Russian.

You have received new textbooks, how to take care of them? (put on the cover and make a bookmark).

Name the library furniture (racks, catalog boxes, lectern)

Why are there book exhibitions in the library? (to facilitate the selection of books).

How many days are books borrowed from the library? (10 days).

Well done guys, we really liked you, we are waiting for you in the library. Let me know if you enjoyed our tour. If yes, then you will raise the red cards, if not, then the green ones.

  • Give students primary school basic concepts on the basics of library and bibliographic literacy (BBG) - "library", "book fund", "reading room", "subscription", "catalogs", "encyclopedias".
  • To form and consolidate primary self-service skills in a school library.
  • To instill the ability to navigate independently in the world of books - ask to pick up a book for yourself.
  • For educational purposes, repeat and familiarize children with the "Rules of conduct in the library."
  • Fix the lesson material in a playful way.
  • Librarian: Hello guys!

I think you do not mind going on an exciting journey and getting to know the inhabitants and the structure of the city of Knigograd.

There is a city in the world in which guides to life are collected for you. This city can be big or small, but always amazing, it is called "library".

    Silence in the library
    Quite different than everywhere else.
    I think sometimes she
    It hides a miracle.
It hears the call of distant lands,
It contains the secrets of the oceans.
    Here, you hear - Nemo-Captain
He is arguing about something with D * Artagnan.
    obedient to your call,
Here Don Quixote rushes to the rescue,
The answer to hundreds of whys
    Hidden on book pages.

"Biblio" in Greek is a book, and "theca" is a repository. Do you know how many years there are libraries in the world? Almost 5 thousand years!

The whole history of the development of the human mind is connected with books and libraries. This is not exactly a calm story! They fought for them, burned them, lost them, found them, saved them from enemy invasion, as the most precious thing. Today's library seems to be the epitome of silence, peace and order.

Did you know that the word "Book" comes from the Church Slavonic "KЪNIGI", which means letters or letter.

IN different times the bookstores had a variety of names. In Egypt, during excavations, archaeologists found the inscription "Pharmacy for the soul" above the entrance to one room. This entrance led to the library. According to the ancient Egyptians, the book can be compared with a medicine, but not for flu and sore throats - this medicine makes a person's mind strong, ennobles his soul.

Paper hadn't been invented yet, but libraries already existed. What did they keep in them? Books! In Egypt - written on papyrus, in Mesopotamia - scratched on clay tablets. In India - made up of chopped palm leaves, in China - scrolls of silk. Some of these first books have survived to this day. They are now carefully stored in the largest libraries.

    slide 4

So, the library is the house of books. Books, your faithful friends, live and make friends here. The library has a lot of books, magazines, and all this is called book fund.

Our library has two branches: subscription and reading room.

The word "subscription" has many meanings. If you want to know all the meanings, look in the dictionary. In the library, it means a place where books are given out at home.

For a few days the book is yours, you can look at the pictures, read, reread, write something in a notebook. And at the time appointed by the librarian, the book must be returned to the library - after all, other children need it. What if you didn't get to read it? It doesn't matter, come to the library and ask for an extension of the book reading period. There are books in the library that are not available for home loan. This reference literature - encyclopedias, dictionaries.

Encyclopedias and dictionaries are deservedly called satellites of civilization. They help not only to write words correctly, but also broaden one's horizons, provide new information from various fields of knowledge, science, technology, literature and art, and develop a culture of speech. These are books that readers may need any day. And it's good that they are always at hand. Books like these need to be dealt with. reading room. And in the reading room you can write a report, see a book exhibition, learn a lot of interesting things from newspapers and magazines for children.

    Silence in the reading room
    We especially need.
    Go away, talk, -
In the lobbies, in the corridors!
    Don't stop us from reading:-
    fantasize, dream,
In the silence of the library
    Everyone hears voices
    Speech bird, human.
    Every book is amazing!
    And of course silence
    It's especially needed here."
So what is a reading room? (student answers).

And so that we can quickly find the right book, each book is in its place. In other words, we can say that each book has its own house and its own apartment. But still find the right book happens to be difficult. And here pointers come to the rescue - catalogs.

They are in every library. These are special boxes where cards are stored. The title of the book and the name of the author are written on the cards. And in the corner of the card there is a sign - the abbreviated address of the book on the shelf. The librarian will look at the code and immediately know which shelf to look for the book on. The same cipher is on every library book.

There are a lot of kinds and types of directories. Their number depends on the size of the book fund and the thematic focus of the library fund. The most common alphabetical and systematic catalogs. Alphabetical catalog - the list is compiled in alphabetical order (according to the names of authors or titles of books). A systematic catalog helps to obtain information about books on a particular topic. Our library has an electronic catalog, information about books is recorded in the computer's memory.

Books are like people: they are born, they live, they grow old. Like people, they can get sick. And when they get sick, they need treatment. And all doctors know that any disease is easier to prevent than to cure, and they advise you to take care of your health. And you and I need books and textbooks: what? - SAVE!

I am a book. I am your friend!
    Be, schoolboy, careful with me.
My clean look is always neat
    Keep me from stains.
    Leave the bad habit
Leafing through, fingers do not drool.
Oh, you dropped me on the floor.
Hey, you slapped me with soup.
What are the animals here? What kind of birds?
The pages are not good for messing up.
    Bent my sheets again?
Again you are careless with me.
    Do not bend my binding,
    Don't break my spine!
Forget me not in the garden
All of a sudden it's going to rain.
Remember: I am your best friend.
    But not for dirty hands!

To become real readers, you need to know the rules for using the library. How should you behave in the library? Why?

Rule #1 noise disturbs other readers.

Rule #2: Books must be returned on time. After all, other readers are waiting for them. You can borrow a book from our library for 10 days.

Rule number 3. Library books should be handled with special care so that as many children as possible can read them.

Rule number 4. Library books must not be lost, otherwise there will not be a single book left in the school library.

Rule number 5. Books in the library (from the open access fund) must be put exactly in the place where you got them. Otherwise, the librarian will not be able to quickly find this book for another student.

And now, guys, a librarian has come to visit us, and he wants to check what you remember from our excursion and ask you a few questions. (a student dressed in a library suit conducts a quiz).

    Guess the riddles:

Thirty-three sisters sat on the pages.
They sat side by side - they are not silent, they tell us riddles.
If you know their secret, then you will find the answer to everything.

The librarian talks to the students

    • Do you have a home library?
    • How many books does it contain?
    • Are they sorted by topic, alphabetically?
    • Can you pick up a book from your home library?

In conclusion, the librarian asks those wishing to independently pick up a book to take home.

Excursion to the library "Library - book house"

    (for 1st grade students)

Target: to introduce students to the rules for using the library and the choice of books.

Decor: sheets with riddles, soft toy, memo bookmarks.

Hello guys! My assistant Philya and I (showing a soft toy monkey) are glad to welcome you to our library:

    Library - book house,

    Cozy and beautiful in it.

There are different types of books here.

And everyone is always welcome here!

    Librarian, good friend,

    Talk about everything around

    Help picking up books

    Silence in the library

There are books on the shelves.

    Here they get smart

    Girls and boys.

Guys, on September 1, you came to school, and Philya and I opened the window and the wind brought beautiful autumn leaves. And the leaves turned out to be not simple, but with riddles. Can you help Philya and me guess them?

^ Guys, do you know what the word library means?

The word "library" consists of 2 Greek words: "biblio" - a book and "teka" - storage. But in the library, books are not only stored, but also given to read at home. The place in the library where you can choose a book and take it home is called a subscription. And in the library there are books that are not given out at home and they are read only in the library, where the tables are. This place is called the reading room. The library has its own special order. If we put all the books in one pile, will we be able to find the book we need? Of course not. And so the books stand and lie on the shelves, sorted by topic. Look - the inscription on the shelf "Russians folk tales". This means that it is on this shelf that you will find your favorite fairy tales: "Kolobok", "Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf" and others. And on the other shelf is written: stories about animals. This means that there are books about animals and so on. But you see, there are books on the shelf turned face down and something is written at the top? (we suggest reading the titles of some exhibitions). This is a book exhibition, and the inscription is the title, after reading which, you can understand what topic the books are collected on. This is done so that you pay attention to these books in the first place.

Library - special place and here you have to behave completely differently than in the corridor or on the street and follow some rules. Well, remember how you play hopscotch or hide and seek, by the rules or not? What happens to those who break the rules of the game? Of course, they are quickly kicked out of the game, and next time they will not be accepted into the game.

The first rule is to keep quiet in the library! Why do you think?

Rule two - take care of the order in the library. And this means that after looking at the book, put it in its original place, and do not throw it anywhere. Why do you think it is necessary to follow this rule?

The third rule is to return the books to the library on time, do not keep it for a long time, because other guys want to read this book too. Think about them.

And most important rule- take care of the book! After all, a book is an expensive thing. Many people do hard work before the book is in the reader's hands. A writer is working on it (try to write something yourself and you will see how difficult it is). The artist draws illustrations. Lumberjacks cut trees to make paper. Printing machines are in operation and electricity, paints and skillful hands are being used. That's how hard it is to get a book!

And my assistant Filya will tell you how to handle the book correctly:

I ask you not to put pots

And do not give the dog Jule,

    Don't put a sandwich on a book

Please do not fight, do not throw

And don't splash around with a book in the bath.

And now I hasten to tell you:

I ask you to love all the books!

In order for the book to serve longer, as well as to immediately find the place in the book where it stopped, what should I use? That's right, of course, with a bookmark, but not with pens, pencils or other objects from which the binding is torn and the sheets get dirty. And at the end of our meeting, Filya and I present you with a memo - a bookmark. Take care of the book and at the same time repeat the rules that we talked about today.

Filya and I are always glad to meet you in the library.

May, 23rd V Branch Library No. 7 held excursion for first-graders (grade 1B MBOU secondary school No. 1, teacher - Dushechkina V.S.) "Library, book, I are true friends together."

In the foyer of the library, the head of the library Dorokhova E.A. held a conversation at the exhibition "Time of fairy-tale adventures". The children learned what a library is, how many books are kept in the library, which of them are for children. The children looked with interest at the beautiful new books from the series "Great storytellers of the world", "About princes and princesses", "There, on unknown paths". Then the children visited the reading room, where they were given a variety of children's magazines, encyclopedias, illustrated reference books for younger students.

Librarian Nikitina A. V. conducted a conversation-excursion at the subscription. The guys visited an amazing city, where instead of streets there are rows bookcases, instead of floors - bookshelves houses are volumes of books. And each house has its own name. The children got acquainted with the residents of the city - literary heroes.

The librarian told what books are on loan, that they are all in departments: animals, space, technology, history, etc. The children got acquainted with the rules for using the library. The students read the poster aloud one by one. We kindly request books”, learned what books do not like, and what they will be grateful for. The children were told what a reader's form, a guarantee

The children were invited to the Book Hospital, where they help books in need of treatment. Treatment tools were demonstrated, such as glue, adhesive tape, scissors, paper. The guys expressed their desire to come and help in the "treatment" of books.

In conclusion, the children enjoyed guessing riddles about the book and famous fairy tale characters.

And since the tour took place on the eve of the holiday - the Day of Slavonic Literature - the librarians could not ignore this, and the children took part in a small library lesson "From the history of writing."

The children learned what people wrote on when there was no paper, how they did without letters, when the first Slavic alphabet appeared, what the word “alphabet” means, for which preachers Cyril and Methodius are revered and much more.

And then the guys took part in interesting educational games: “Typesetter” (compose other words from the letters of one word), “Change the word” (it was necessary to exclude one letter from each word to get new words), “Remember, repeat and complete” (each participant in turn repeated the already named words in the correct sequence and added his own word to them on the topic “School supplies”)

During the event, the guys asked their questions. The lesson was informative and interesting.

Abstract of the GCD on the topic "Excursion to the Central Children's Library of Salavat" (preparatory group № 6)

NOD type: assimilation of new knowledge.

    Form of organization: excursion.

Literature: General education program preschool education From Birth to School, ed. N. E. Veraksy, T. S. Komarova, M. A. Vasilyeva.

    Course of the tour:

    1. Introduction.

    1) The children left the kindergarten in pairs. Repetition of the rules of conduct in in public places and on the street.

    2) Repetition of traffic rules (rules of the road). Approaching the first crossroads, the teacher draws the attention of the children, why did we decide to cross the road here?

Children: because there is a sign here, a transitional transition (the children, together with the teacher, examine the sign, remember its meaning).

The educator also makes an explanation that everyone must make sure, before starting to move, that the cars have stopped and let the pedestrian pass. It is impossible to approach the pedestrian crossing to start moving across the road, the driver of the car could not notice them because of the bushes on the side of the road or for another reason. Be sure to make sure that the car has stopped, and only then start moving.

    2. Main stage.

Educator: so we came to the library, let's remember with you rules of conduct in the library.

    Gotta listen carefully

    You can only whisper

Raise your hand if you want to ask a question

Took a look, put it back

Educator: well done guys, remember all the rules, then I invite you to the house where books live.

Librarian: Hello children! There is a house in the world in which guides to life are collected for you. This house is big or small, but always amazing, it is called ...

Let's try to guess the riddle:

    Looking outside -

    Home is like a home

But there are no ordinary residents in it.

    It has interesting books

    They stand in tight rows.

On long shelves along the wall

Fairy tales of antiquity fit in:

    And Chernomor, and Tsar Gvidon,

    And good grandfather Mazai ...

What is the name of this house?

    Try it, guess.

Well done, of course it is library! "Biblio" in Greek - a book, "teka" - storage. My name is ___________________ and I work in this amazing house librarian.

A bit from the history of libraries.

A long time ago, when people did not yet know paper, but wanted to pass on their knowledge to others, they wrote down words on whatever they needed: they carved signs on stone, later they depicted letters by embossing on clay tablets. IN Ancient Egypt written on papyrus, a material made from perennial plant with the same name. And in Russia they made thin skin and wrote on parchment, on birch bark.

People tried to keep these letters: clay tablets, papyri, and parchments. The first libraries were created. But over time, the words were erased, the planks, birch bark deteriorated. Then people learned how to make paper and print books. People who write books are called writers. Writers wrote about what they saw and heard. They wrote poems and made up stories and fairy tales. A lot of books have appeared that we all need to know our past, present and future. Learn about everything that is happening in the world, happening on Earth. Where can we get books? (Buy in the store, in the library.)

Well done boys! I was convinced that you want to become smart, you want to learn a lot of new things.
