Installation of a pumping station in a well. How to connect a pumping station to a well or well. Station Specifications

A pumping station is necessary to ensure cold water supply in the absence of a central network or interruptions in its operation. The source of water can be a well or an equipped well. In the first case, a stationary or temporary technique can be used. The scheme for connecting a pumping station to a well or well depends on several factors.

The optimal location of the pumping station depends on its parameters. The maximum suction depth, lift height, pressure value and rated power are taken into account. They are selected according to the characteristics of the well. These include its remoteness from home, the minimum water level relative to the soil horizon.

Additional factors influencing the drawing up of a scheme for connecting a pumping station to a well:

  • Temperature environment. Affects the method of laying the pipeline - underground or on the surface.
  • Maintenance labor intensity. If the station is located outside the home, repair and maintenance work is carried out without difficulty.
  • Electrical network parameters - maximum load power and the ability to connect power to the pumping station.

The optimal scheme is compiled on the basis of the manufacturer's recommendations. The technical data sheet indicates the maximum and minimum temperature effects, the permitted degree of ambient humidity and the characteristics of the electrical network.

Well connection diagram

General concept for the development of an organization method autonomous water supply includes pumping station connected by a pipeline to the well and mains in the house. An important point is the choice Supplies and accessories. Work is best done in the summer.

Design stages:

  1. Selecting a station location.
  2. Drawing up a scheme for laying a pipeline.
  3. Delivery line kit.
  4. System protection measures.

Details depend on how the pumping station is connected. For each specific case, the optimal components are selected.

Mobile option

It is relevant for the seasonal organization of water supply in the country. The advantage is the possibility of using a low-power pumping station. Its location is as close to the well as possible. The unit is mounted on flat surface protected from the rain by an awning.

In this case, pipelines are installed with a threaded coupling - a collet coupling. Production material - cross-linked polyethylene. They have sufficient flexibility, with the help of couplings, you can make an extensive system for watering a personal plot and water supply to a summer residence.

Components of the scheme for temporary connection of the pumping station to the well:

  • supply line - strainer for coarse cleaning and check valve;
  • distribution pipeline - a tap for shutting off the water supply, a fine filter;
  • safety devices - pressure switch connected to the comb, pressure gauge.

During the drawing up of the scheme, it is necessary to minimize the number of turns of the pipeline. The maximum slope of the distribution line must not exceed the allowable one.

Fixed connection

For this option, the organization of water supply is equipped with a separate room. Most often this is a basement or basement room. It must be insulated, since the effect of negative temperatures on the station or water in the pipeline can lead to system failure. Additionally provided.

The list of components of the connection diagram is the same as described above, with the addition of the following elements:

  • the distribution line has a drain pipe to remove water from the pipes in the house;
  • it is recommended to install a storage tank located at the highest point of the system;
  • if there is a possibility of a power outage, the pumping station is connected to a UPS or an autonomous electricity generator.

In addition to the correct installation, it is necessary to timely check the operation of the system. Work is being done to clean the pipes, the integrity of the membrane is checked expansion tank, pump status is monitored. The water level in the well should not be lower than the location of the end of the supply pipe.

After acquiring a water supply device, the question arises of connecting it to. How laborious is this and how to make sure everything works? How to connect a pumping station to a well with your own hands, without the help of specialists? All this can be found in the article.

Selecting an installation site

There are two options.

First. If the water from the well is used only in the summer, and there are no options in the house, you can connect the pumping station to the well according to a temporary (seasonal) scheme. This means that for the winter part of the pipelines that could be thawed can be dismantled and reassembled in the spring. It is possible not to dismantle the water supply, but then it is necessary to provide drain fittings for emptying the pipelines for the winter, and also carefully maintain the slopes of the pipes in order to exclude the possibility of incomplete emptying of the pipes. In this case, there are no requirements for placement in a warmed room. Water points can be arranged wherever convenient. The main thing is that in this case there is no need to lay a stationary non-freezing pipe and, most importantly, it is not necessary to arrange the entry of this pipe into a well in the ground.

Second. In the case of year-round use of water and its use in domestic water supply, it is necessary to carry out water pipe to the house. The pipe should be buried below the freezing level of the soil, this level should be determined based on the location of the installation site in a specific geographical area. If this is not possible, you can use different ways electrical heating of pipelines. The pipe entry into the well must be absolutely tight. It is better to carry water into the house after the final formation of the well at the same time as the construction of a clay well castle.

When installing a pumping station based on a surface pump outside the well shaft, it should be borne in mind that even if the necessary level difference between the pump and the water level is maintained, the length of its horizontal section exerts an additional load on the suction pipeline. It is advisable to minimize the distance in order to properly connect the pumping station and the well. To make approximate calculations, keep in mind that one meter vertically is equivalent to four meters horizontally. For example, when installing a pumping station in a well, the horizontal length will be 8 meters, then the suction depth is reduced by two meters.

When connecting a pumping station to a well submersible type the same principles remain. The only difference is that the automation is installed indoors, and the pump itself is lowered into the well.

The figure shows the complete set of the pump.

Connection of a pumping station

  1. It is required to assemble the ejector, it is a node with three outlets-connections.
  2. We insert the filter in the lower connection.
  3. We chose the desired length for the 32 mm drive and now we put it on the upper connection of the ejector.
  4. To properly connect the parts, we assemble the drive of the desired diameter. This can be done from a pair of parts that are connected together with an adapter.
  5. After assembling the drive, we mount a bronze coupling at its outlet. With its help, access to the pipe will be provided.
  6. Let's seal the joints. To do this, you can use flax or sealing paste.
  7. If the installation of the station takes place outside, then at this stage laying of the pipeline in the trenches is required.
    • do not forget to slightly increase the required pipe length for a certain margin when calculating;
    • a head should be placed at the end of the casing pipe; in case it is difficult to find, you can replace the part with a knee with a non-acute angle;
    • now put the other end of the pipe at an angle of 90 degrees into the knee and lower it; use mounting foam for sealing;
    • we also connect the pipe with the corner adapters located on it at angles of 90 degrees, and the adapters are the connecting link with the outer pipes;
    • to connect the pipes to the ejector, use couplings.
  8. When the station is installed underground, the ejector is lowered into the well to a predetermined required depth.
  9. The connection to the casing pipe is carried out with the help of plumbing tape.

The ejector dip mark should be at the same height as the casing outlet.

The installation points of the pumping station in the well remain the same for the option of the surface location of the station. Only the moments of installing the pipeline in the trench and the ejector underground are excluded.

First start-up and verification of correct installation

For the initial start-up, the pump must be filled with water. For this, a special filling funnel should be provided, cut off from the pump by a shut-off valve. More convenient option initial filling - pumping the pumping station manually piston pump connected at the output of the station.

The pump is controlled by a pressure switch.

It is connected with hydraulic system and has a spring-loaded membrane (bellows) that transmits water pressure to the electromechanical part of the relay. The relay ensures that the contacts close when the pressure drops below the set pressure (switch-on pressure) and open when the switch-off pressure is reached. Usually the value is directly adjusted lower pressure by adjusting the compression force of the corresponding spring. The second adjustment is responsible for the pressure difference between turning the pump on and off.

You can determine which pressure values are set by looking at the pressure gauge on the supply pressure line. If there is no flow (closed taps), turn on the station and wait for it to turn off. The pressure gauge will show the cut-off pressure. Open the tap (more convenient - near the station), slowly release the pressure. At the time of switching on the station, fix the switch-on pressure. If the measured values do not suit you, remove the cover of the pressure switch and adjust the pressure values by turning the corresponding nuts.

During the initial installation of the station and during its operation, it is necessary to maintain the actual values of the parameters in the operating range specified in the station passport. It is not recommended to force the pump to work, as they say, for wear by increasing the pressure on the relay. This mode usually reduces the time between starting and stopping the pump. With a significant overestimation of the set pressure, the pump can switch to the mode without turning off at all, which means that the pump power is not enough to create the set pressure.

A simple tire pressure gauge is used to determine the available pressure. Naturally, before checking with a pressure gauge and installing the station, check the nipple. If the air does not try to escape from it, then both the nipple and the membrane itself may malfunction. Be sure to keep in mind that it makes sense to measure air pressure only if there is no water pressure in the membrane, for which it is necessary to bleed it with the pump turned off.

The pre-set air pressure should be slightly higher than the start pressure of the pump. Then, by the time of launch, there will still be a small amount of water in the tank.

The non-return valve ensures the movement of water in the system only in one direction. The automation of the pumping station controls the pressure or the presence of flow in the pressure part of the water supply. This means that the non-return valve must always be installed in such a way that the pressure at the installation site of the automation cannot spontaneously decrease. Depending on the specific conditions, the check valve can be installed directly at the inlet of the pumping station or at the end of the water intake pipe lowered into the well. Sometimes installed at both points.

When starting up, the pump must be filled with water. This should also be taken into account when choosing a place to install a check valve. To protect the pumping station from sand, filters are sometimes installed on the intake line. At the end of the intake pipe, a check valve is often mounted, combined with a strainer into one unit. Surface pump stations are sometimes supplied with a rope filter at the inlet. Of course, you need to monitor its condition, as it becomes clogged, the suction depth will gradually fall.

Video clip about connecting the station

The plot provides the information necessary for clarity. How to assemble the station, as well as how to properly connect it to the well.

If the water in the well is deep enough, and the well shaft is made reliably and firmly, then the pumping station can be installed directly in the shaft.

For this, a shelf is made in the shaft and carefully fixed on the wall, the size of which would allow the pumping station to be securely fixed. It is advisable to install rubber pads under the legs of the pumping station in order to reduce the impact of the vibration of the operating station on the structure of the well. The level at which the pump shelf is made should be such that the vertical distance between the pumping station and the water level in the well does not exceed 6-8 meters.

A non-return valve with a strainer is fixed at the end of the suction line, which protects the pump from large debris. All threaded connections it is recommended to perform using FUM-tape or synthetic sealing thread (for example, "Tangit unilok").

At the first moment, there is no water in the pump, the pipes are dry, respectively, if the pump is turned on in this state, it will overheat and may fail. For the initial start-up, our scheme provides a filling funnel. At the initial moment, with the pump disconnected from the mains, by opening the initial filling valve and closing the valve on the pressure line, we fill the pump and the suction line with water through the funnel. A check valve in this line will prevent water from flowing out of the pump. After filling the system in such a way that the water is in the filling funnel, close the valve on the filling line and turn on the pump.

In the filled cavity, there may be air locks. If everything is in order, then the pump will immediately begin to suck in water and create pressure after itself. When the pressure rises to the set pressure, the pressure switch will turn off the pump. If the pump does not pressurize the first time, the pump start-up procedure must be repeated. Usually it has to be repeated several times, each time adding water through the funnel.

Is it possible to install a pumping station in a structure on the surface, without lowering it into a mine? In the case when the water in the well is high, then this can be done. The figure shows a diagram of switching on the station using a complete suction hose with a check valve and threaded fitting for connection to the pump. The procedure for starting the station is similar to that described in the previous paragraph.

How to install a pumping station in a well may not always be clear. Moreover, when buying it, a consultant is unlikely to be able to reveal all the subtleties. Taking advantage detailed information from the article you can make a connection with your own hands.

Connecting a pumping station to a well is a necessary final stage in the implementation of water supply at home.

It requires the implementation of certain rules and features, which will be discussed in this article.

General provisions

Do-it-yourself water supply with the help of a water supply station must meet all the needs of the residents of the house.

By the number of functions performed, the equipment in question can be industrial or household. For our case, a household option is quite suitable.

Here is the optimal set of requirements for home plumbing:

  • Providing clean, drinkable water.
  • Irrigation of plant crops.

  • Satisfaction of the entire household block, which includes a toilet, bath or shower, washing machine, dishwasher.
  • The flow of water into the heating system of the building.

When choosing equipment, you should also be aware that there are both automatic models and manual activation.

Connection

Before you connect the pumping station to the well, you need to decide where it will be located.

Installation location

Two options are possible:

  1. Basement. A particularly noteworthy advantage of this location is the ability to quickly and permanently access the equipment. The room must be heated to prevent freezing of water. The station itself is placed on a special pallet or hill to protect against a possible rise ground water.
    The price of implementing this method is cheaper, since a ready-made storage place is not used.

  1. A caisson is a dug below the freezing level of the soil and a necessarily insulated pit directly above the well shaft. In this case, a pumping station is installed in the well. This arrangement of equipment is suitable if there is no basement in the house or unwillingness to occupy it.

Installation

Now consider how to install a pumping station on a well. For example, let's take a two-pipe model with an ejector.

Tip: if the depth of the mine does not exceed ten meters, then a single-pipe type of station is quite suitable.
This will allow you to significantly save financial costs.

Instruction:

  • First we assemble the ejector, which is a one-piece cast-iron assembly with three outlets.

  • In its lower part we mount a filter from a fine mesh.
  • In the upper sector we put on a squeegee required dimensions on a plastic tube.
  • At the outlet of the squeegee, we install a bronze coupling to make the transition to a plastic pipe.
  • With the help of tow or fum-tape, we guarantee the tightness of the joints.
  • We dig a trench to a depth below the freezing level of the soil.

  • We install a water pipeline in it. In this case, the length of the pipe should be chosen with a margin.
  • Using a coupling, we attach one edge of the casing tube to the ejector.
  • We pass the second end through a rectangular knee. Filling the empty space mounting foam.
  • We connect the pipe to the corner transition element, which is fixed on the outer part of the water supply.
  • The ejector assembled in one piece is lowered into the well.

  • We fill the trench with earth. Assembly of the pumping station on the downhole pump is completed.

Common Mistakes

When installing all the components of plumbing equipment, a number of common mistakes are possible, knowing about which will help you avoid them:

  • Small stock of used pipe lengths. Often overlooked are the presence of corners and the thickness of the foundation, which increase the distance to be laid. Be careful. It is better to overpay for the extra length that can be reduced than to wonder about increasing the product and wasting large sums on sealed adapters.
  • Screwing threaded connectors with bare hands. At the moment of twisting, it may seem that the part has sat down tightly, but during operation a leak may appear. Be sure to use a key to ensure complete tightness.

  • Negligence in relation to the accumulator. Be sure to check the internal pressure in it. If it falls below 1.2 atmospheres, then it must be increased using a compressor or pump for cars.

Filter

Any water carries a lot of impurities in the form of sand, clay and other heavy elements. They are bad enough internal structure equipment, in order to disable it with a large accumulation. Therefore, if you want to extend the life of the station, then its installation is required.

But at the same time, it is necessary to remember about the negative effect: a decrease in the strength of the influx of water. To prevent this trouble, it will be enough to regularly clean the dirty filter elements. The main thing is to prevent complete clogging of the system, which will most likely lead to a breakdown of the device.

Conclusion

Even if the process of drilling a well is successfully completed, one should not relax. After all, now it is required to provide the whole house with water obtained by such labor. A household water supply station from a well will perfectly cope with this, the installation of which is quite feasible with your own hands.

You should understand exactly why you need this equipment in order to choose the appropriate volume and power. This takes into account the need for watering the garden, the full functioning of the washing and dishwashers, supply drinking water and implementation of the bathroom.

Installation is possible in the basement or in the caisson. This primarily depends on the degree of development of your site. Purchase pipes with a margin, and make all threaded connections with a wrench, without overestimating the strength of your hands.

The video in this article will introduce you to additional information relating to this topic. Good luck to you installation work!

One of the first engineering systems, which are created in private households, is a water pipe. Its use is necessary even at the construction stage. Without plumbing system full 24-hour living in the house is impossible. modern houses have as part of their engineering networks not only ordinary taps, but also automatic devices that use water. In order for your house to have water pressure around the clock, each owner needs to know how to connect a pumping station.

What is a pump station?

During construction autonomous system water supply and connecting the water supply of a private house to the main utility networks, each owner wants to receive a constant pressure of water in the system. So, to lift water from a well or from a well located on a personal plot, pumping devices can be used. They are various models and capacities, can be located in different segments of the water supply system. Submersible pumps are lowered directly into a well or into a well, while surface pumps are placed at ground level, taking water with an inlet hose.

The pump should not run continuously. Continuous work leads to rapid wear of the components and mechanisms of this device. At the same time, do you want to use water at any time of the day? There is a way out: to ensure a constant pressure in the pipelines of the water supply system, a station is assembled pumping equipment.

The main parts of the pumping station

  1. H asos. Usually in a set of stations use surface pumps, which, through the inlet pipe with a filter, take water from a well, well or main network.
  2. Pressure accumulator or hydraulic accumulator. It is usually a container of a certain size, inside which there is an elastic rubber partition or inner container. When the system pressure increases, the container or partition expands, and when the pressure decreases, it contracts, squeezing water into the system and maintaining constant pressure parameters.
  3. Control node, which determines when to turn on pumping device and when to stop working. The on and off parameters are determined by the pressure in the system, which is measured by a pressure gauge.

Options for installing a pumping station

Stations of pumping equipment, regardless of the location of the water source, can be installed in three main places.

Features of choosing the location of the pumping station

Options for connecting a pumping station

Depending on the configuration of the water supply system, you can choose one-pipe and two-pipe schemes for connecting the pumping equipment station. A two-pipe system is used to increase the depth from which the pumping equipment station can lift water.

A single-pipe scheme is used with a well depth not exceeding 10 meters. If it exceeds 20 meters, then it is preferable to use a two-pipe scheme with an ejector.

Connection of a pumping station (two-pipe scheme)

On initial stage an ejector is assembled, which is a separate unit made of cast iron, with three outlets for connecting the pipeline.

  1. First, we mount a filter mesh on the ejector (in its lower part), which protects the pumping equipment from failure when small stones or sand enter from a well or well.
  2. A plastic socket is mounted at the top of the ejector assembly, to which a 3.2 cm spigot is attached. You may have to mount several slings at the same time in order to reach the section of the water pipe.
  3. At the end of the drive, we mount a coupling that will ensure the transition to a plastic pipeline. Usually such a coupling is made of bronze.

When connecting elements, please Special attention for tight connections. Of course, a leak in a well or well will not cause you aesthetic inconvenience, however, air intake in leaky joints can lead to instability in the system and a significant decrease in its power. Threaded connections are sealed with special paste, fum-tape, linen wrapping or rubber gaskets.

Remember! Water supply pipelines must either run below the freezing depth of the soil, or be suitably insulated.

When introducing water supply pipes into a caisson or to another installation site of a pumping equipment station, it is necessary to provide them with some margin in length. After the pipes are removed, we begin to connect the pumping equipment station to the pipelines from the well.

  1. We install a cap on the casing pipe of the drilled well.
  2. We find out the depth of lowering the pipes into the water well. To do this, we lower any solid long object into the drilled shaft. The level of placement of the inlet pipe of the pumping equipment station should be about a meter from the bottom of the well so as not to suck in sand, silt or stones from the bottom.
  3. We attach polyethylene pipes to the ejector assembly. The length of the pipe should be equal to the sum of the distance from the wellhead to the pump and the depth of the well (minus one meter).
  4. At the head of the well, we mount a knee with a turn of 90 degrees.
  5. We pass through a straight knee plastic pipes leading to the ejector assembly (after the installation is completed, the space between inside bends and pipelines can be filled with mounting foam). In a straight elbow, the pipes can be both bent and connected by adapters with a rotation angle of 90 degrees.
  6. We lower the ejector device to the required depth. You can verify the correct installation depth of the ejector by the mark that we previously made on the pipeline.
  7. We fix a homemade head on the top of the casing pipe, which we have consists of a pipe elbow turned at an angle of 90 degrees. You can fix the "head" on the casing pipe of the well with a specialized adhesive tape for plumbing with reinforcement.

We bring water pipes to the house. You may need to provide turns. Entrance water pipes through the foundation must be located below the freezing line of the soil. The removed pipes are connected to the water pipe of the pump as part of the station. The connection of pipelines is made using a wrench or adjustable wrench.

There is usually a filling port on the top of the pump in the equipment station. It is necessary so that it does not run dry. Filling with water is carried out only at the initial start-up or at start-up after long downtime.

Before starting the pumping station, check the operating pressure in the accumulator. Usually it is 1.2 - 1.5 atmospheres. You can increase the operating pressure with a conventional automobile pump. For pumping on pressure accumulators in water supply systems, there is a special nipple.

How to connect the pumping equipment station to the main water supply

Sometimes it is required to connect the pumping equipment station not to a well or well, but to the main water supply. This is true when connecting to utility networks with low or unstable pressure. You can make this connection in next sequence.

We regulate the operation of the pumping equipment station

After installing the connecting elements, the system must be run in test mode to check the tightness and performance of all its segments. Before starting, water is poured into the filling hole of the station of the pumping equipment, this excludes the operation of the device "dry".

As a rule, all adjustment parameters are set at the station even before it is launched, based on the calculated parameters of the house's plumbing system. During operation, the working units of the station of pumping equipment may wear out, therefore, approximately once a year, it is desirable to carry out additional adjustment of the pump operation parameter. Precise adjustment of the pumping equipment system with built-in pressure accumulators is carried out by its own automation unit.

Important nuance. All stations of pumping equipment include Electrical engine. It can have a lot of power, so we recommend that you provide such a station with your own power line. force line the station will operate in a humid environment, so take care to install protected sockets and lay cables in special corrugated tubes.

As you can see, connecting a pumping equipment station is available even to a non-professional with minimal technological skills. Its installation will help you ensure uninterrupted water supply to your home and personal plot.

Video - How to connect a pumping station

In order to avoid additional expenses, it is quite possible to undertake the installation of equipment for wiring communications on your own. However, it is important not to forget to follow a number of rules and recommendations for installation, then connecting the pumping station to the well with your own hands will be done as competently as possible.

About the design and principle of operation of the equipment

This type of technique has a fairly large number of performances. Accordingly, it may differ slightly depending on the selected model. But the drive and the pumping unit itself always act as the most important nodes. Considering the last of these elements, we can distinguish the following varieties of it:

  • with ejector;
  • without ejector.

Moreover, in the first variant, the division into two subtypes is again assumed: with built-in and remote ejector. According to the design of the drive, the following versions can be distinguished:

In the case of the first of the options, a higher degree of efficiency of the equipment is noted precisely due to the presence of a hydraulic accumulator in the design. In addition, the principle of operation is based on the operation of a pressure switch, by means of which the equipment is turned on and off, depending on what pressure level is currently recorded in the system.

The accumulator inside is divided into two separate cavities, between which a partition is installed. This allows water and air to be pumped in at the same time. The higher the water level in one of the compartments, the greater the pressure value achieved at the outlet of the pumping unit. And this, in turn, has a very positive effect on the speed of water movement through the communications system from the well to housing.

main feature characterizing the work storage tank equipment instead of a hydraulic accumulator, it consists in lower productivity due to the natural supply of water from the reservoir to the consumer. The water level in the tank is controlled by a special float. When it sinks to the bottom, the pumping station turns on, as the tank fills, the equipment turns off. However this species devices are obsolete due to a number of shortcomings, including: large dimensions, installation complexity, insufficient work efficiency.

Site selection for installation

In addition to the installation itself, it is necessary to perform preparatory work, in particular, the search for a suitable location for the location of equipment. Along with this, before you connect the pumping station to the well at a depth with your own hands, you should evaluate the proposed site for compliance with the following rules:

  • it is advisable to install the equipment not too far from the well, which will allow pumping water with a slightly greater uniformity;
  • regardless of which room in the house was designated for the installation of such equipment, it is important that it is well heated, which means that the location of the pumping unit on the street is a bad idea;
  • it is highly recommended to organize in the room, in addition to high-quality thermal insulation, also sound insulation, as this will reduce the noise effect during operation of the equipment;
  • it is also good to choose a room of sufficient area to provide access to equipment for emergencies or maintenance.

as the most suitable option how to connect the pumping station to the well itself, the following solutions are usually used:

The scheme for connecting a pumping station to a well should be based on the characteristics of the unit itself, as well as on the configuration of the water supply system at home. All these factors together will help determine the most appropriate location for the device.

Connection sequence

For a stable position of the unit and protection in the event of groundwater, a small pedestal is usually erected from brick or using concrete mix(for the last option you will need formwork) . But it is better to install the pump on a rubber mat laid on top of a previously prepared base, fixing it with anchors. This will reduce the effect of vibration that occurs during operation of the device.

Most often, for the correct operation of the device, the manufacturer prudently completes the mechanism with a protection unit against the so-called, and in addition to that, with a receiving valve. Then it remains only to connect the communications to the inlet and outlet of the pumping unit. This work is usually done using fittings of various configurations.

Depending on which one is used connection scheme: one-pipe or two-pipe, the installation process will be slightly different. But none of the options involves the installation of a pumping station in the well. Only fence communications are brought there. The main stages of connecting equipment with pipes laid in the mine of a water source:

  • in the immediate vicinity of the well, a trench is being prepared with a depth reaching the level of freezing of the soil; it will be used to connect to the water intake communications of the well;
  • further through the angular connecting element a connection is made between the water intake pipe in the well shaft and the pipe leading to the intake pipe of the pumping equipment.

If the connection is based on a two-pipe scheme, how to connect the pumping station to the well in this case? To connect communications to the intake hole, you need equip the ejector with a coarse mesh filter, on the other side of this node is going to be driven off. For this, several transitional connections can be used to obtain desired value diameter. The connection of the drive and the plastic pipeline is carried out by means of a bronze coupling.

You should consider in more detail the process of how to connect a pumping station to a well:

  1. In the case of connecting a single-pipe circuit, a casing head is used, but when a two-pipe version of the device is mounted, it is problematic to find such a head, respectively, best solution V this case there will be a pipe bend with a smooth slope.
  2. When communications are lowered into the well, it is necessary to calculate the depth of their installation as accurately as possible, for which one of the pipes should be lowered to the very bottom. And, having made a mark, subtract 1 m, so you can protect the filter mesh at the end of communications from rapid contamination with silt and sand, and the water itself will best quality if the pipe does not reach to the very bottom.
  3. Above it was considered how to assemble an ejector. Accordingly, at the next stage, polyethylene pipes are connected to this node.
  4. Then there is a connection at the elbow section of the pipe with corner fittings, to which external communications are already connected. Carry out sealing free space You can use mounting foam.
  5. One of last stages works is the immersion of pipes connected to the ejector, sufficient for normal operation depth.
  6. An elbow head is attached to the casing pipe; reinforced plumbing tape can be used for strength.

An example of a homemade option

A trench is also being prepared for laying communications leading to the house, the depth of which is below the freezing level of the soil. When connected to a water supply system, a valve is installed at the outlet of the pump unit, as well as a filter deep cleaning. In the area after the filter element, it is recommended to install another valve. It is advisable to tighten all threaded connections with an adjustable wrench.

There is information about a coarse filter for a pumping station here. What is it and what is its function.

After all the work has been done, in particular, connecting to the internal water supply and intake communications, for reliability, the functionality of the equipment should be checked in test mode. You just need to pass water through the filler hole so that it fills the pumping station, including pipes and a hydraulic accumulator. When shut-off valves open, the electric motor of the equipment is started. This leads to the beginning of the process of filling the pressure pipe until all the air has escaped. The automatic shutdown of the unit occurs at the moment when the pressure reaches a certain value, which varies from 1.5 to 3 atm. depending on the model.

So for effective work local water supply system at home or cottage is not enough just to choose the right equipment, it is important to connect it to the well and internal communications housing.
