Installation
The operation of intercom networks and equipment must be completely safe for persons who follow the rules for handling such devices. The design of the cargo has some features. In order for it to move up quickly when opening, it is necessary to ensure the free flow of fluid through a sufficiently wide channel along the axis of the piston. A poppet valve is installed in its lower part to close the channel. If the speed of lowering the load is low, then a thin washer of 0.3-0.5 mm must be placed between the seat and the valve disc.
In the upper part of the load, a steel bar Ø 6 mm is inserted perpendicular to the axis of movement to fasten the cable, which then passes through the block and is fixed in the upper part of the door with an indent from the hinges. Moreover, the greater the indent, the less the weight of the load, but the height of the cylinder is greater, as the movement of the load increases.

In the tested device, the diameter of the load was 99 mm, the height was 150 mm, the weight was 5 kg, the diameter of the roller was 60 mm, the distance between the cable and the door from the hinges was 200 mm. The load is turned on lathe of steel.

The return spring, fixed on the front door, has a number of inconveniences: when closing, the door slams hard, and it takes considerable effort to open.
I propose a device that is devoid of these shortcomings and is structurally very simple. To make it, you need a cut steel cable d 10 mm and 800 mm long and two clamps cut out of sheet metal 1 mm thick.
The ends of the cable are inserted into the clamps and fixed with nails through pre-drilled holes. Speaker with opposite side the end of the nail is riveted or simply bent.
Before installing the device, it is necessary to carefully fit the door so that it fits easily into the box. The device is heeled from the side door hinges. We screw the upper clamp with three screws to the vertical post of the door frame, and the lower clamp to the very plane of the door. It turns out that there is a hexagonal screw head on the door. It is turned with a special hexagonal key. - drill a special hole for the threaded section of the bolt;

- a valve is placed on the prepared flat and pressed tightly with a nut.
Hidden gate valve
Often, the owners want to install such a valve on the gate in their yard or in the country, in addition to the castle, which is difficult to detect and open. Such a valve is made on a wooden gate.
Suppose such a bolt closes down. To install it, you need to drive a pipe about 0.5 m long into the ground. Location of the pipe: from the side of the site, where the gate opens. The pipe is chosen with the same diameter as the bar. Brackets are attached to it, another bar is inserted into them, which, slipping through the brackets, will fall into the pipe.
