Glue is applied to the edges of the fillet, with a brush or a gun, without saving. Surplus is removed.
Needles, pins or paper clips will help fix the baguette-plinth. Then the fragments will not “creep” to the sides as the glue dries, or finishing putty. In the final, the holes from the "braces" will be carefully smeared - and everything will be left to dry. The final touch is painting (if it is planned). Your plan has now been successfully completed.
