1. ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Natural cooling at night allows you to save energy at night when the air conditioning system is turned off. By ventilating rooms containing office equipment, which raises the room temperature, night mode reduces the cooling load when the air conditioning system is turned on in the morning.

Nighttime free cooling only works when connected to multi-unit or VRV® systems.

Night free cooling is factory set to “off” but can be enabled by your Daikin dealer at your request.

Efficient preparation of outside air via heat exchanger and cooling/heating switching mode

Indoor unit with outdoor air preparation.

With the help of outside air, the temperature can be brought to a temperature close to the indoor air temperature, with minimal cooling power.

2. DESIGN FLEXIBILITY

High static pressure

Modifications to the fan design, including the use of multi-arc blades, a thinner volute and an optimized fan volute angle, provide improved operating efficiency. Significantly higher static pressure is achieved due to improved fan characteristics. This reduces unit placement restrictions and allows for flexible duct design.
