How to make slime from water and starch? The method is quite simple. Required:

1. 1 st. corn starch (do not replace potato starch);
2. 1 st. warm water;
3. 1 tbsp PVA glue;
4. dye (we used ordinary dyes - my mother had them in store for Easter, and I buy dyes for handmade soap);
5. you can also add sequins or broths (holiday ones or those used for manicure are suitable).

First, liquid starch is made - pour the entire glass of starch powder into a bowl and add a quarter glass of water. Boil the remaining water, stir in the soaked starch into the water, boil everything for about a minute, stirring continuously. This amount is enough for three lickers. We take further tight package, pour in a third of the volume of liquid starch, drip the dye (do not pour too much, the dyes are well concentrated), and then you need to pour in the glue and sparkles.

After that, the package is tied up and kneaded well - you should get a mass in the form of a sticky compote and a little slurry. We drain the liquid, blot the lick several times with a napkin. Your handgam can be used.

Can a slime be made from starch? Oh, in fact, anything can fail. This is the first anti-stress slime that my sister and I made, and we succeeded, but when I decided to repeat this experience, it didn’t work out for me. Of course, I immediately began to take an interest in the forums on how to make slime from starch and why it didn’t work out for me.

And it turned out that if add too much glue (or some very high quality and good glue), then the slime will be sticky. And if there is too much starch, then it will fall apart.

• So, you need to mix flour with cool and heated water.

• It turns out very interesting if you make two lumps different color and then crush them together.

Shaving foam

How to make slime out of shaving foam? In principle, shaving foam slime is easy to make - all you need is a tube of glue and some shaving foam.

It is difficult to predict the exact amount, so we do this - put 100-200 g of glue on a plate (the whole bottle), and then we inject the foam into the eye and begin to knead. It is necessary to add foam, achieving the consistency you need.

In general, a shaving foam slime can be pure white (the color is dense and beautiful), or you can drop a couple of milliliters of dye. By the way, you can drip a few different drops, you get a marble handgum.

Shampoo and salt

We also learned how to make slime from shampoo and salt. You need to take any shampoo (we took dad's transparent shampoo blue color) - you need 3-4 tablespoons. And then you need to pour salt into the shampoo and stir well. You will see how gradually the liquid mass becomes thicker and ceases to be so sticky.

We didn't like this one too much, it's more like a gooey jelly than a standard regular handgum, but it's also quite fun and will be fun to play with.

How to make slime from shampoo and water with starch:

First, make liquid starch (I wrote above how to do it correctly - cornstarch with water), and then you need to add shampoo and mix well. The mass must be kept in the refrigerator.

Soda

Soap and glue

Another recipe is how to make slime from liquid soap. Again, nothing complicated. Go to the hardware store and buy polymer glue - well, for example "Titan". And then mix three parts of glue and two parts of liquid soap. If we take color transparent soap, then the slime will turn out transparent.

Toothpaste

An easy way to make a toothpaste slime is to mix a small tube of glue and a pack of gel toothpaste. Then you need to mix the mixture well and cool in the refrigerator for about half an hour. I must say right away that the toothpaste slime smells very strongly of toothpaste, so it's best to add a couple of drops of perfume composition to the mixture or regular essential oil.

Another interesting toothpaste slime is obtained using polymer glue - if you beat the mixture well, then there will even be air bubbles in it (looks very nice in the photo and video). The ratio is this - for 100 grams of toothpaste you will need 40 grams of glue (the same "Titan" will do).

How to make slime from toothpaste without glue? You can experiment with sodium tetraborate - add a few drops of sodium tetraborate to the mixture of toothpaste, salt and shampoo, and then mix well and cool.

Basic manufacturing methods

There are many elementary and not very ways to make a slime on your own, at home. The choice of recipe depends on the imagination, the availability of free time and the available tools at hand.

Plasticine toy

To make a handgam from plasticine, we need the following materials:

• plasticine - about 100 g, any color;
• - 1 pack;
• cold and hot water;
• plastic and metal cups.

The cooking method is quite simple.

1. Dissolve gelatin in cold water, use metal utensils for this.
2. After an hour, put the dishes on the stove to warm up to high temperature but do not bring to a boil.
3. Meanwhile, pour into a plastic cup hot water, put a piece of plasticine there and mix it thoroughly in water.
4. Slowly pour gelatin into the resulting mixture, mix until smooth and put in the refrigerator.
5. We put it in the refrigerator, wait a couple of hours - and you can play!

Such a toy is safe and environmentally friendly, but it gets your hands dirty and does not “live” for long.

Slime from starch

You can make a toy at home without plasticine. In this recipe, we need corn starch - it will make the toy more pleasant and elastic. But if there is no corn, you can use potatoes. The recipe for making is quite simple.

The following ingredients are required:

• starch;
• water;
• food coloring. You can show your imagination - sparkles and even small rhinestones will make the toy just cosmic.

Combine starch and water in equal proportions, place in the refrigerator, and in a couple of hours your slime is ready! When cooking, you can add a drop of perfume or essential oil - the toy will smell delicious. And if you add a little phosphor paint, the toy can glow in the dark.

The advantages of this method are simplicity, environmental friendliness and the ability to show imagination. Disadvantages - again, a very short shelf life, only about a week.

Handgum from shampoo and glue

This method is already more complicated, but the slime also turns out to be more similar to its store relative.

We will need:

• shampoo without adding - 3 tablespoons (50 ml);
• polymer glue - 3 tablespoons (50 ml);
• food coloring, sequins, sequins, rhinestones - optional;
• plastic container.

This is the cooking method.

1. Pour shampoo into a container, add dye and glitter, mix thoroughly.

• sodium tetraborate (borax solution) - 1/3 teaspoon. Try to get a solution of borax in glycerin;
• PVA glue, preferably in a bottle, 1 pc. Can be replaced with transparent clerical;
• cold water - 200 ml;
• food coloring, glitter, etc.

Production takes place according to the standard scheme.

1. Mix glue and water in a plastic bowl, mix thoroughly.
2. Add dyes.
3. Slowly and carefully add sodium tetraborate. The more borax, the "thicker" slime.

When making a slime in this way, be sure to use protective equipment: gloves, an apron, unnecessary clothes. Store the finished toy in a closed container, without access to air and light. Sodium tetraborate has a big plus - by its nature it is an antiseptic.

Lizun from soda

Another way to make a toy yourself from simple improvised means.

In this recipe we will need:

• soda - 1 tablespoon;
• PVA glue - 100 or 200 ml;
• a glass of cold water;
• food coloring, rhinestones, sparkles, etc.;
• plastic utensils.

The production steps are as follows.

1. We dissolve soda in water (1 tablespoon per 1/2 cup).
2. Mix the glue with the dye until a uniform color.
3. Pour soda into the resulting mass.
4. Mix thoroughly.

We store the toy in the same way as in the previous method - in a dark, dry place.

Liquid laundry detergent toy

This recipe calls for liquid washing powder – dry matter Or dishwashing detergent won't work.

Ingredients:

• liquid laundry detergent - 2 tbsp. spoons;
• PVA glue - 1/3 tube;

Lizun from sodium tetraborate and alcohol

IN this recipe sodium tetraborate is also used, but without PVA glue.

We will need:

• sodium tetraborate (dry borax) - 2 tbsp. spoons (sold in a pharmacy);
• a glass of cold water;
• polyvinyl alcohol in powder form (ask at the hardware or hardware store "Antimelitel");
• metal (not plastic!) dishes;
• dye.

The manufacturing steps are as follows.

1. Dissolve alcohol in a glass of water.
2. Put the bowl with this solution on the stove and heat slowly, stirring. Heating time is approximately 40 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat, let the solution cool to room temperature.
4. Pour in the borax, mix.
5. Add dye.

Handgum according to this recipe will turn out elastic, not disgustingly sticky and very similar to the store.

If you make a toy in any of the above ways and add pieces of metal to it, you get an amazing magnetic slime.

In order not to crumble an iron part with a file, try to find iron oxide in the store or order a special powder developer in office equipment stores.

By mixing the powder with metal particles, we get an unusual magnetic slime that changes shape under the influence of a magnet. And if you add phosphor paint to the toy, the slime will glow in the dark.

This method of making sticky toys does not require a lot of materials and time, but it is rarely used due to the fact that alcohol is used in the recipe.

How to make a "glass" or transparent slime

You can create a glass slime that will be completely transparent without special efforts. To do this, you need to prepare sodium tetraborate (all known borax) and ordinary liquid transparent glue (silicate).

The process of creating a transparent handgam looks like this:

• in a glass container, mix one part of glue and sodium tetraborate;
• mix the composition thoroughly with a plastic spatula;
• after a minute, the glass slime will be ready.

Making slime from water

Making a slime “like in a store” is quite easy, for this you need PVA glue (office glue), water and a little time.

Technology for creating water slime:

• pour 50 ml of slightly warm water into a glass bowl clean water and 100 gr. PVA glue (it is important that its expiration date is not expired);
• the mixture must be thoroughly stirred, in case it turned out to be watery, you need to add a certain amount of glue;
• now you need to pour 1 vial of sodium tetraborate (4% solution) into this composition;
• if borax is purchased, which is in a powdered state, it must be diluted with water (in the proportion of 1 tablespoon per 0.5 cup of water);
• it is important to monitor the amount of borax and not to exceed its amount, otherwise the slime will be too hard and less plastic;
• in conclusion, any dye must be added to the composition, it can be either a food or an ordinary solution of brilliant green.

At the end of the process of creating a slime, it must be put in a plastic bag and kneaded thoroughly. Important! After playing with such a handgam, you should definitely wash your hands.

How to make slime from baking soda

Some believe that tetraborate is not needed in children's toys, and resort to making slimes without borax. It perfectly replaces the ordinary baking soda. Moreover, from soda you can make both a transparent handsome man and colorful slime(if you add dye).

Creating such a handgam is easy:

• first you need to dilute 100 ml of glue in 50 ml of water;
• using a wooden stick, introduce a little coloring matter into this liquid;
• the composition must be stirred until complete dissolution and combination of all ingredients;
• now you need to mix 150 gr. soda and 15 ml of water;
• add this mixture to the color composition;
• now the mass needs to be transferred to a plastic bag, shaken and kneaded thoroughly - from these manipulations the slime will gradually thicken and become elastic.

Just a minute of exposure and your own handgam is ready! Note! Such a slime should only be stored in a closed jar or bag, otherwise it will dry out and lose elasticity.

We sculpt a slime from plasticine

A homemade slime is very easy to create from plasticine, which is in every children's room.

It is prepared like this:

• The handgam making process is quite dynamic, so you need to prepare everything in advance necessary ingredients: plasticine (a strip from a standard set or 100 gr.); food gelatin - 15–20 gr.; glass of water; container - glass or plastic for mixing all parts and metal for heating gelatin; slime spatula.
• Gelatin should be poured with water in a metal bowl and allowed to swell for 1 hour.
• Now you need to heat the swollen gelatin over low heat, without bringing it to a boil.
• Separately stretch the plasticine so that it becomes very soft and takes over body heat.
• In a plastic bowl, pour mashed plasticine with 50 ml of hot water and mix this mixture thoroughly with a spatula.
• Now it remains to carefully mix the slightly cooled gelatin and plasticine mixed with water.
• In conclusion, the slime must be removed in the refrigerator and left in it for half an hour, after which it can be played with.

How to make slime from shampoo

A very interesting recipe for making slime involves the use of shampoo, which is sure to be found in every apartment. There are several options for creating such a handgam:

• Shuffle in plastic container the same amount of hair shampoo, baking soda and water. You can add any dye or leave the slime white. You need to store it in a cellophane bag.
• You can combine shampoo and water with flour to get a thicker toy consistency. Important: knead the composition in warm water, and add the dye before the flour.
• Often, starch is used instead of flour, which allows you to sculpt beautiful sticky crocodiles or create your own dolphin.

Note! Slimes that contain flour are quite sticky and have an unpleasant ability to leave greasy spots on light wallpaper, which are not easy to wash.

How to make slime from liquid laundry detergent

Young inventors came up with the idea of ​​using liquid laundry detergent to make slimes. Moreover, ordinary washing powder or dishwashing liquid, in this case, will not have the desired effect, and it is unlikely that a high-quality slime will be obtained.

To create such a handgam you need:

• mix in a container ¼ part of a standard tube of PVA glue with food coloring;
• achieve a uniform consistency and color by thorough mixing;
• add to this composition no more than 2 tbsp. l. liquid detergent;
• mix the resulting mixture;
• if the composition is very thick, you need to slowly, literally drop by drop, add liquid washing powder to it until it acquires the desired consistency;
• now you need to gently knead the entire composition for 5-10 minutes (it is better to wear rubber gloves);
• the finished slime is stored only in a container that is hermetically sealed.

If some of its properties are lost over time, you can put handgam in the refrigerator for a while.

How to make a DIY magnetic slime
