It was easier for us to draw the project by hand, I draw well, but for mastering special program there was no time. In addition, the husband perfectly calculates the details himself. By the way, sketches of furniture, calculation of facades, standard simple and complex cabinets can be found on the Internet, more often on the websites of companies that cut and sell cabinets. When designing, it is better to focus on the standard, everything non-standard is more expensive.
Coming up with the design of the kitchen, I had to take into account the following factors - the presence of a door to the corridor and a double hinged door to the living room.
Number of family members per 10 sq. m kitchen. There are five of us and grandmothers often come, that is, 6-7 people should have calmly sat down at the table.
In the process of creating the project, we realized that we want spot lighting above the working area, so the idea came up to make a plasterboard ceiling, moreover, I was haunted by the peeped idea of a ceiling turning into a wall. I wanted to put the refrigerator so that it was not visible from the living room. And such a ceiling perfectly hides the sleeve of the kitchen hood.
After we calculated the required number of outlets, we determined the places for them. The husband convinced that you should not be greedy, he decided the issue of quantity. Now there are sockets in the area of \u200b\u200beach work area - we use everyone, there is no need to carry appliances around the kitchen.

If you are an electrician and have a wiring diagram for your apartment, you can do it yourself. My husband did everything himself. Shtrobil not only the walls under the sockets, but also the ceiling - it was necessary to move the chandelier to the center of the conditional square. The offset was necessary as the symmetry of the ceiling changed due to the drywall construction.
Plumbing layout
The only job that required the help of a professional. It requires specific skills and a special tool. After installing the kitchen, it is extremely difficult to get there and fix something, so it's better to do it first.

Plasterboard ceiling and wall installation
First, they mounted the frame for the ceiling from metal profiles, then ventilation and wiring. Sheathed the structure with drywall, embedded lamps.
Wall and ceiling plastering
The ceiling was plastered for painting. (How to putty drywall.) The walls were leveled with putty and prepared for wallpapering. At the junction of the ceiling box to the walls, a narrow ceiling plinth.
Laying tiles in the work area
The main thing is to accurately mark out what will be located where, i.e. make a sketch and accurate calculations. I laid the tiles along the guide rail - conveniently. There were not enough tiles at the top, we decided to glue the wallpaper.
Wall papering
In the working area, wallpaper of the color of coffee with milk was used, they supported a warm, soft color scheme. In the dining area - wallpaper with bright accent— a stripe of green apple color, mother-of-pearl coffee stripes completely made friends between two types of wallpaper. Laying laminate
Linoleum was not removed, the substrate was placed directly on it for greater sound insulation. The house is panel and there are problems with it. However, during the operation they realized that in vain, due to the fact that they did not take into account the defects of the screed, the laminate can “walk” a little. Everything is fine in the kitchen, but there is such a place in the hallway. If you remove linoleum, then the stage of floor correction - screeds should be done first.
Installation of floor plinths
Now it was possible to proceed with the installation of furniture, sawing the chipboard for which was ordered in advance. Everything was ready for the deadline. Bought a range hood, oven and hob, because under its dimensions it was necessary to cut holes in the countertop. Then we bought a sink from artificial stone, did not find the tone, took the black one - it looks very good and is easy to install.
My husband made everything by hand. I called a friend to help with the installation of the tabletop - I needed accuracy and physical strength.
Ordered facades: bottom - chocolate, top - vanilla. Several frosted glass facades in thin aluminum frame to lighten up the kitchen.
It remained to mount drawers, cargo, hang doors, install taps and our walk-through kitchen is ready. It turned out that you should not be afraid of installing mechanisms - each of them has detailed instructions from the manufacturer, including the dimensions of the blank for drawers.
It remains to think about the design of the window, tint the doors and make a shelf for the microwave with your own hands, the board is waiting in the wings.
Some of the nuances of our kitchen renovation experience
- When laying laminate, you need to make sure that the kitchen support bar does not subsequently fall on the junction of the laminate panels.
- Polyurethane ceiling plinth should be painted immediately, so it will be easy to clean and last longer.
- When calculating spot lighting, it is worth dividing it into zones, and providing the possibility of separate switching on, this will save energy.

- In order for the kitchen to serve for a long time and water and crumbs do not get under it, you can buy a “U”-shaped profile for the plinth made of chipboard, the so-called “eyelash” is a good thing.

- If you have a soothing kitchen, you should choose an additional third accent color to enliven the interior. We have it the color of green apple in the dining area. Initially I assumed mustard, I did not find the wallpaper. Tips for successful color combinations are easy to find on design websites.
- When choosing a tile, do not rush and skimp - it is more difficult to re-glue it than wallpaper. Our tiles are Polish, simple and not expensive, but spectacular - they shimmer in the light, although they are absolutely monophonic, just small squares are poured at different levels.
A fugue for sealing tile joints is better to choose a tone on tone, then it looks perfect.

"Highlights" of our walk-through kitchen
There are few hinged cabinets in the kitchen, more precisely, only one, and it is temporary. In the future, it will be replaced by a dishwasher. My experience is that in swing cabinets it costs a lot and it's inconvenient to get it all. He opened the drawer - and everything is in full view. How much I use, I'm happy. The same story with folding and swivel lifts on the upper doors is convenient to disgrace and no one beats their heads against the doors.
In deep top cabinet, we made a convenient narrow shelf “for spices and small jars”.
My dream - a cupboard - fully justified itself. All festive dishes fit in it, there is no need to buy a slide or section. And doors with frosted glass allow you to keep the secrets of order.
Built-in lamps are swivel, you can slightly change the direction of light.
The kitchen table is made from simple materials to order according to our sizes. Behind it easily fits seven people. But it still unfolds and works as a guest table (the area is doubled).
Homemade bench without back, not only saves space in the kitchen, but also accommodates three children.
Practical people will immediately notice where in this kitchen you can squeeze additional cabinets. But I didn't want to post them. hard-to-reach places to put rarely used things. I wanted lightness and the preservation of "air". There is enough storage space in this kitchen. And for pickles we have a pantry.
